What can you say about an aged Arnold and incredibly difficult cast to actually like. The film in itself as a story and plot is sizably decent. The fact that a group of undercover DEA agents would rob a cartel is plausible. Also plausible that said cartel would find out and seek retribution. There are a lot of action scenes that go over well but in the style of the 80/90's era. Really the whole film wrapped around greed, grief, revenge. I was not overtaken by any characters at all, but this film is sure to fill a lazy afternoon.

Fairly simple plot about revenge and a drug bust gone wrong. Not that it really matters, this is a movie that delivers on action and violence. And it's pretty strong on the latter. A lot of unconvincing CGI blood flying around, but at the same time much of the gore is pretty realistic looking too. And we get the usual Arnie somehow surviving despite have rounds of serious ammo aimed at him. As for the big man himself he's one of my heroes, with the likes of The Terminator & Predator being some of my favourite movies. But sadly he just looks too old here to be doing this sort of thing now. Come on Arnie, time to hang up those weapons! Pretty forgettable film, perhaps worth watching just the once.

I originally wanted to watch this purely for Olivia Williams.Wow.What a piece of crap! The only highlight of this film is actually Olivia Williams, the rest of them are just dicks, even Arnie! It feels kind of pointless to watch a movie where you just don't care what happens to all but one of the characters but I sat through it and guess what? They were all still dicks in the end!Aside from Williams, I can't think of one thing I liked about the movie, which is disappointing considering the cast; Sam Worthington (Avatar), Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Josh Holloway (Lost), Terrence Howard (Empire), Max Martini (The Unit) and Mireille Enos (The Killing). This is written and directed by David Ayer and if this is what the Suicide Squad is going to be like..... well we are in for some trouble!Don't waste your time with this! Me being tortured is the only reason I would watch this again.

With an $18 million worldwide gross and a %19 RT score, David Ayers' 'Sabotage' typifies Arnold's comeback. But unlike efforts before and since, I honestly feel this one gets a bad rap. It's a relentlessly grim and unpleasant film, featuring a cast of characters that are extremely unlikeable. So much so that before the plot kicked in I struggled to find any emotional purchase here. But once Olivia Williams' character is introduced and the dominoes start to fall, I found 'Sabotage' to be a well acted and intriguing mystery in the mold of Agatha Christie's 'Ten Little Indians'.Surrounded by a strong supporting cast, Arnold--who has looked either rusty or bored (or both) since his comeback--gives his best performance in years. But the standout for me was Olivia Williams, who is fantastic (dodgy attempt at an American by way of Atlanta accent aside). I loved the way her character was written, and she really steals the movie out from under her costars in the same way Tommy Lee Jones did in 'The Fugitive'. I desperately want to see an Investigator Caroline Brentwood movie. It certainly has its missteps and Ayer lays on the sleaze and gore to the point that they stop being effective and start to become comical, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed 'Sabotage', and unlike most of Arnie's recent stuff, I think it deserved a better fate.
