This movie was the greatest thing about mankind. I was laughing, afraid, crying, and clapping at the end. That chase between Marcelle and the cat had me biting my nails. People say that it is a rip-off of Ratatouille(The inferior movie), but as I dug deeper Ratatoing came out 2 days before Ratatouille! I don't get how anyone could rate this 1, as everything about this movie is a masterpiece! It certainly shows that these gods of creators spent hours, months, even years planning, animating, editing, and found the best of the best voice actors to play some of my favourite characters! In conclusion, this movie is amazing. I would rate it 100/10 if I could. I recommend it to all families, kids, adults, anyone or thing!

This is a ripoff of Ratatouille. Ratatouille is 7 times better than this! The animation is horrible. Everything looks dark and mushy. I would kind of like it if the animation was better and the characters weren't rats, so it wouldn't be directly copying Ratatouille. But no! They decided to be lazy and copy a good movie. They weren't even trying to be good! Luckily, Video Brinquedo went bankrupt. I hope they never do something like this ever again. Why is the restaurant called Ratatoing? It sounds like someone can't pronounce Ratatouille, so they put bounce sound effect at the end. Rata *bounce* Not only did they ripoff Ratatouille, but they also ripped off the Mona Lisa! The Mona Lisa!

Wow, this movie is simply terrible. Video Branquedo continuously pumps out this garbage, in an attempt to get people to mistakenly purchase it, mistaking it for Ratatouille. The sad part is the fact that this actually works. When I was at the after school program at my elementary school years ago, they put movies on for us daily. We had the pleasure of having to sit through this... movie every once and a while. The acting is just horrendous. I find it hard to believe that anyone enjoys these anime voice actors/actresses. Their voices are bland, and they give no distinct tone to their characters. But apparently there were some big name anime performers in here, who apparently took this up. A part of this movie which hasn't been looked at enough, is the translation. It is just terrible! The sentences are jumbled, and the characters strangely say the word 'friend' over and over again. I don't think the translators understood the difference between formal and informal conversation. I just didn't comprehend the friend thing. They could casually refer to themselves by using their names, but they kept using the word 'friend.' The characters by the way are laughably bland. The animation is also a joke. I just laughed my head of when the cover said something like 'SHOCKING 3D ANIMATION!' Luckily I didn't pay for this as I watched it with an android box. But hey, I didn't give it a 1 for one reason. While the scene at the beginning with the restaurant customers is just so obviously an attempt to extend the run time, there is one thing the movie did that I feel that many animated movies wrongfully gloss over: the conversations at the dinner tables made an attempt to be believable. With these Disney movies nowadays, the conversations are rarely not related to the plot. Movies forget to take a break from the action once and a while, and to just have a normal conversation. At least the conversations at the customers' dinner tables made an attempt to be realistic. But besides that, this movie is a joke; just a shameless cash grab. I don't recommend purchasing it, but if you can get it for free, perhaps it's worth a watch just to witness how bad it really is.

Highs: The dialogue wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Still isn't good though.Lows: Let's start with the obvious: This is a direct copy of Ratatouille. Both movies even start with "Ratato". The plot is slightly different, but it's still incredibly similar. Video Brinquedo is probably the most lazy studio in the world based on what I've seen from them so far. Another con: The animation. It's bad. Incredibly so. As one movie critic put it, "If you ate a copy of the worst cartoon you could think of, you'd still probably crap something better than Ratatoing"Verdict: Probably the worst animated film I've ever watched. And believe me, there are many bad animated films.
