Synopsis

Four friends set out by boat for an idyllic vacation on a private, remote island. But unknown to them, a weaponized shark has escaped from a top secret military lab nearby, a shark that was genetically engineered with hate in its blood, and programmed to hunt any human within range. Now, these friends must band together to battle an all new brand of predator who will stop at nothing to remain at the top of the food chain.

dannyc-31683 Recently i have watched quite a few shark films, this is definitely the worst!I think its an insult to call this a film. It looks like it was recorded from an IPhone. 0 amount of effort went into making this mess. I watched the trailer before viewing this movie, and its something when the trailer makes absolutely no point, as its absolutely means nothing whatsoever to the whole plot.In short a military shark has escaped .. a teacher wants revenge for the shark eating her sister .. Teenagers wanting to go to the island to assume look at the shark? In the trailer its mentioning about a perfect vacation, utter rubbish. The actors are beyond awful. You don't gain any sort of warmth for any of the characters. In some cases, it looked like they actually have forgotten their lines, and it was improvised. Its a shame, because the only decent thing about this film is the poster advertising it. Summery: Positives - If you need something to add to the trash, the disc is perfect. - Nice movie poster.Negatives - This "film" exists. - Appalling acting from every "actor". - The effects for this "flying shark" is the biggest pile of rubbish. This film is 2015, the effects really take the mick with a film this modern. Brett Kelly is producer. "FLYINGGGGG SHARKKKKKKKKKKK!" .... OK
full_pirate_regalia I like trash movies. I like shark movies. So, being really spoiled by Asylum, I thought: Aww, come on, for just 5.99€, this can't be bad. Or... Can it? Well... Yes, it can. This is an amateur movie released on DVD. And it's so incredibly DUMB on so many Levels... There's minor things (Why is he leaving his socks on as he wants to join the hottie in the water?) to really, really, REALLY stupid stuff (Whats a scientist doing all alone in the middle of the woods?) and some stuff which will make you just shake your head (no blood in a decapitation scene, but when there's a flesh explosion they just take a bucket of badly done fake blood and throw it into the actors face)... The acting isn't present, I haven't watched it in English, but the German dub, so I can't say anything about the original voices, but the facial expressions are just... Ugh! German sincere is on the Level of "let a bunch of drunk people yell into an iPhone". Not even the music is any good. Uhm, have I mentioned the Shark is just a still picture? It's a PICTURE in front of a moving background. Yes, the thing can fly. For whatever reasons.Don't buy this. Don't rent this. Don't even STEAL this, it's not even worth that. The only good thing about this movie is: It's only 60-some minutes, and at least the end credits song isn't THAT bad. Still bad, but it's the only light at the end of the tunnel.
Doctor_Blade Watched this the other night, and I have to say this DOES fall into my personal 'So Bad It's Good' territory, and a keeper, unlike some of the reviewer's views so far. SO much to savor. Where to start? I love that the DVD cover, as good as it is, has virtually NO images relating to the film.... apart from water and a shark. I love that nearly every shark-killing in the 'movie' is met by matter-of-factness as opposed to abject horror and sympathy. The indoor scenes have bad sound but you can hear the air conditioning excellently. The acting is earnest but eclectic, particularly from the boat's captain and the Police Marshall, and the dialogue is ripe and over-wrought, but there are genuine attempts at humour scattered amongst the plethora of unintentionally funny moments. I think we need to search no longer for a modern day Edward D.Wood jnr.If home movies made as a project for college, with a touch of honest eagerness and 'not –classically' attractive ladies cavorting and getting their kit off for a swim before being devoured by a dodgy, digital shark is your bag....look no further. I personally found this more enjoyable than the 3 dvds i saw recently put together. (A Good Day To Die Hard, Super and Horrible Bosses.)
gjeindl-1 This film is incredibly stupid, poorly acted and plain horrible, however I really enjoyed this one. It reminds me of the films we did ourselves, a fun project that never was supposed to be more than that. As this is a stupid movie with sharks I'll have to make the obvious comparison to Sharknado. The effects are pretty much as bad as Sharknado, but the film just has more heart, you can see how the 'actors' actually try to make this work, so I would consider this film to actually be better. I'm not really sure what most of the people who saw this actually expected, but if you ever tried to make a movie yourself this is pretty much how it will turn out, which makes this actually enjoyable.
