I dont know where to start, but I believe that writing is the backbone for any movie and this movie lacks it, and that is why you feel actors , director keep dragging it to get something out of it , Lets start with the good things, the movie has good locations, reasonably good cinematography, direction and editing, I personally liked Humayun saeed, to me he delivered something of his stature, I see greats of Pakistan TV wasted in this movie, nadeem baig did a great job but unfortunately he did not have enough room to express himself, Kahlil ur rehman as a writer was a complete disappointment , You can expect atleast something from a writer of his caliber but he failed, the movie starts off really slow, till 41 minutes you donot know whats the premise of the movie except that inter culture marriage, Its not a love story nor its a drama, its just a creation of writers mind which you cannot relate to anything, the movie takes on different topics all at once but could not focus on a single point, the characters look disjointed and you feel no connection for any of them , right after 2nd minute you just want it to get over, I watched it late but trust me its a sheer waste of time. For those who think that they can push anything down to our throats in the name of cinema revival so they must understand that most of local viewers are not dumb enough to be dumbed down with such slow serious crap

Acting by Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed was amazing. However, Mehwish Hayat as Amal Dastor steals the show and is perfect in her role. Acting by other cast members was up to the mark as well. Storyline and direction is excellent. Pakistani movies like Punjab Nahi Jaungi can easily give tough competition to Bollywood movies in overseas markets. It surely raises the bar for Pakistani cinema.
Have watched this movie several times now. Deserves 10/10.

Hi guys, I watched this movie with my family. It's really full of entertaining movie so I suggested you must watch this movie. You really will be enjoy.Awesome movie so far from Pakistan.Every character of the movie did a great job but especially hamayio and sohail ahmed sb did a great job.Really awesome. Thumbs up for the full of entertainment .surely I will be recommend to every one to watch this movie.Thanks Pakistan and Pakistanio.
