To see the quality of this movie, you have to ignore the idea that anyone might take it as truth; it was never meant to fool anyone. You even have to ignore the idea that it's a satire of the conspiracy theories, though it is. But this film's real strength is as a piece of speculative fiction. What if Paul really did die? How did the Beatles come up with all of these clues, and where did the references come from? It tells the tale of an alternate universe where the assassination of John Lennon and the attempted assassination of George Harrison are interconnected by the death of Paul McCartney. It not only chronicles the theories that actually existed, but in fact adds new ones. It's a dedicated look into a what-if situation.I think the biggest problem is that it's too long. The concept wears thin after a while.

I was a teenage girl when the Beatles hit the music scene in the U.S. and people went berserk, especially girls. Berserk. I never caught Beatlemania to that degree, but did enjoy their music, both as a group, and later as solo artists. I have to admit, this film got under my skin a little because all my friends had been a-buzz with this theory back when we were kids. And Paul McCartney's songwriting is weak compared to the other band members, so I'm thinking...maybe that's because it isn't Paul, it's FAUL. No wonder John was so angry all the time. He was being hounded by, not one, but two governments at the same time. This explains so much. It's all falling, I mean "Faul-ling" into place. And who cares anyway at this point? It's more entertaining that it offended so many die hard Beatle fans. Lighten up, people, it's entertainment if nothing else. And it isn't disrespectful to anyone, other than Paul McCartney, because the film essentially calls him a poser. And everyone is focused on the quality of the narration because it was recorded onto mini cassettes. I use those voice activated recorders all the time in my job taking recorded statements, and depending on the quality of the recorder and the cassette tapes, they can produce very clear sound quality. But all that aside, this film is very entertaining if the audience allows itself to be entertained. Maybe M15 did it because they hate Faul McCartney's music. But what about William Campbell's real family? I smell a sequel.

I'm not a believer of the Paul Is Dead Urban Legend but it is still very fun to be a part of since I see it as a game that has been played since '69. When this "Documentary" was making news on the internet and YouTube, the DVD was a must buy for me, if only I knew the horror that I was going to face. To begin the voice in the Documentary is -CLEARLY NOT- George Harrison but a Canadian trying to get his story across, maybe the Director himself. 2nd there is so many plot holes in the film and complete lies that it's surprising the film itself is trying to make itself look serious. Some examples are; Paul's death led to The Beatles teaming up with MI5 or they will die? Paul's mum attended Paul's Funeral? (When in fact she died when he was a teenager). Rita is really Heather Mills. And the biggest insult is when the voice claiming to be George says in one point that Ringo didn't have any talent or personalty, now George would never say such even if he was on his deathbed.Another insult is that "George" is saying that The Beatles songs after Paul's death had no intention or meaning other than just being sounds for putting clues on and "George" claims that John pretended to be involved in peace and was a freedom fighter. The only good thing about this Mockumentry is the music used in the movie. The right music for the wrong movie. This Mockumentry is still a buy though, it is a "so bad its good" film. Being so bad you can only laugh at it.In closing if you a believer of this version of the Paul Is Dead Urban Legend go onto YouTube and you'll find the real version of the story. If you are still a player of the game, do not use this to help you not even to cheat.Joel Gilbert... you should be ashamed of yourself making money of this terrible version of one of the greatest urban legends ever and who ever was pretending to be George, be a real Beatles fan and get your facts right. The Mockumentry gets a 2/10.

So terribly bad. there was obviously no research put in to it. the claim is that Paul died in 1966, but yet there were clues of his death on the rubber soul album, which was released in 1965. So now I am to believe that Paul is dead and the Beatles were psychic. the only reason I gave as high a score as a 2, was because it had footage of the Beatles, and i will watch anything with the Beatles. I even watched Backbeat more than once, and that was an American doing a bad Lennon impersonation. I also cant believe that I have to write ten lines to review this awful lot of rubbish. I did not like it. not one bit. and here is ten lines you should take as a warning that you should do something else before watching this "film".
