alistairc_2000 This is a delightful move and very British. It has a good cast and the lead actress is so pretty. I had to suspend disbelief as no one esp not even the drip who drops her at the start would ever leave this woman. She is a stone cold babe. So she is cast adrift with no friends and gets the gorgeous headstrong Patrick. Like all dogs he is a pain at the start but worms his way into her heart. The movie itself tries to be a romantic comedy and works quite well until the final denouement which I felt was a bit forced. The real starts of the show are the gorgeous and talented couple. Yeah, I am talking about the dog and the lady.Well worth a watch.
snyggasonia Liked the story and it's perfect for kids as well as adults BUT I'm sure that this will create a surge in buying brachycephalic (flat-faced) dogs without thinking about their health issues. Since I don't support the breeding or beautifying of flat-faced dogs, it I'm only going to give this movie one star.
taylorsweb-48873 I went with my Grandson to see this film and wasn't sure what to expect as the reviews were not brilliant. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that the film was actually brilliant. Lots of funny and moving scenes which left us with a good feeling. One of the best movies seen in a very long time. My grandson loves pugs and loved this movie. He also wrote the title for this message.
june17-875-666095 This is just a terrible movie. Every cliche in the book, not an original, or funny, line, almost insulting in its banality. A superb cast, given absolutely nothing to work with - script not even edited. All concerned should be ashamed of themselves - clearly a vanity project for Jennifer Saunders
