Reviews

MartinHafer So far, IMDb has two credits listed for Joaquin Baldwin--this film and SEBASTIAN'S VOODOO. Both are exceptional film (particular SEBASTIAN'S VOODOO) and show that Mr. Baldwin has an excellent touch with animation. While it's obvious he doesn't have the money or studio to make "big" films, what he's able to do is extremely impressive and I hope he gets noticed by someone other than me! The film is told without words and is about a homeless man and his pet cat. All the man does is sit around making origami figures, but because of his imagination, he's able to live in a magical world all his own. A very simple story, but one with really nice animation that is distinctive. Additionally, the musical score accompanying the piece is very evocative and fits the story well.
