Story of an elite covert police squad in the closing days of British Rule of Hong Kong. We watch as they complete their final missions including protecting a trade conference, and we also follow the romance of one of its members.By the book Hong Kong action film is good but isn't anything that's going to remain stuck inside your head. The action is well done, and the reason to see this, but at the same time suffers from an affliction of many Hong Kong actioners, the streets are filled with spectators watching the filming. The film makers try to cut around the obvious crowds who are clearly standing watching the chase and not glancing at the mayhem they've randomly run into.(It really used to annoy me until I realized that it was simply something that happens in Hong Kong films, even though it takes away all illusion of any sense of reality). I can't really say more than that because all I remember is the action.Worth a look on an undemanding night 6.5 out of 10
