GUENOT PHILIPPE As an Edward L Cahn movie, you can guess that's not BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER KWAI or FIXED BAYONETS. But I was nevertheless surprised by the darkness of this story telling the mission of a group of GI - during WW2 - who must prevent Japanese army to penetrate into India from Burma. They are dropped by parachute and then have to get help from the natives; and in this tale it is native girls...Of course, you can guess what that means. But it's a downbeat story, very sad in the ending. I won't say more. Just one thing, the characters are not uninteresting.I recommend it.
