mrdivot One of those films that you need a half-rack or phatty to sit through. But, once the effects from your favorite mind number start to hit you, this one becomes rather enjoyable. Rocky Horror Picture Show wannabe has nudists that killed themselves in a suicide pact come back and terrorize the right-wingers that got the nudist colony shut down. Most of the nudity is in the opening credits and then that ain't much. For nudists, they sure do wear a lot. Boobies, that's it..Nary a butt shot. Pretty weak. The musical numbers have some crazy lyrics, and the break you get from the poor acting makes them even more enjoyable. A perfect cult movie candidate.
b_scheim This movie was so painfully and unbelievably atrocious, that well, I feel no doubt in claiming it to be the very worst movie I have ever seen. There have only been a few comments made so far on this movie (and only 18 votes), so I just want to make sure that the sentiments of the negative viewers are echoed. This movie was so appallingly offensive to nearly everyone, but (in no particular order): "rural folk", christians, jews, asians, hispanics, black people, and yes, even nudists. A group of nudists commit suicide to haunt "bible-thumpers" who come back to the former nudist colony to go to bible retreats?? I think arguing about the inanity of the plot is probably beside the point, as the title of the movie should speak for itself about what the plot may have to offer. The back of the moviebox claims the film is "filled with a lively, upbeat score that is right out of 'Little Shop of Horrors' and 'Thriller'". Uh huh. The song lyrics are admittedly comical at times, but mostly because they are so ridiculously corny and non-sensical that you're laughing more at the creators of this movie than anything else. I won't go on any further, just don't watch this movie!point being... stay away unless you are so bored that you are contemplating a nudist suicide and/or are dead already. It's both offensive AND horrible, and i wouldn't even recommend "seeing it for yourself".
zerospunk I saw this on a online video site. I have no clue when this movie was released or any specifics on it, but I do know that I would have never seen this in a theater, and even yet video. Free is free though, so i figured why not. The things that stuck out in this flick, had to be the plot. A nudist group is forced to leave because they are considered immoral by the church and town, so they all kill themselves, ala poison punch. The scene where the old woman is telling the story and keeps going on and on right before the man is trying to drink the punch is pure comedy. Anywhoo, they all vow to haunt their camp and kill blah blah blah..you get the point. A church campgroup, for SINFUL teenagers (ooo aren't they all sinful?) vactions in...the exact same nudist camp a couple years later, they all die, yadda yadda. The musical numbers in this simply add to the corny feel of this. Some of the tunes are actually catchy...in a retarded sort of way. Nothing serious comdeywise...its all one big parody, or maybe its trying to parody other parody, or maybe...actually who cares.Watch this if you have nothing better to do..
mark-126 Great satire on the explosion of T.V. gospel people and their effect on America. The film is a clever spoof on the craziness and blind devotion followers show preaching phonies.
