What stinker this was, this movie blew, but Lacey is hot.

Having gone into the film expecting Liam Neeson's new picture, what I received was beyond words.I've watched many films throughout my life, and this is, without a doubt, absolutely THE WORST FILM I've ever had the misfortune of watching. What's wrong with it? Everything. Appallingly made, dreadful scripting, abysmal acting, nonsensical plot, seemingly random music, no sense of direction, and full of time-wasting filler scenes. If I can stop one person watching it, I will have been pleased. I will never, ever get back the 90 minutes I lost watching this.In essence, the film is NON-STOP ****.

Lacey Chabert is good in this film, which kept me intrigued almost to the end.But I couldn't take "Non-Stop" seriously once I realized that Amy was not who she appeared, by a long-shot, though that plot strategy worked OK for others in the story.Too much time is wasted here trying to raise suspense with bit players like the bartender, loony spiritualist lady, gassy traveling salesman, and creepy little girl. And I'd have appreciated far fewer examples of the stewardess's inner Nazi (OK, I get that she's a bitch!). "Non-Stop" is derivative of a movie several years back, also not that great, in which Jodie Foster loses her daughter on a trans-Atlantic flight. Without having looked at the writers' names, I'd bet they are male. It doesn't ring true for Amy's flame-haired friend to push her so assiduously toward a one-night stand when she's heartbroken over a failed marriage plan. Some of the ideas here worked all right, but overall I think the writers were trying too hard. Just tell the story, with fewer fireworks, and trust the audience to care!

No vote for this silly movie. To begin with it was an old plot that has been done and done and overdone before with much more success than this.I find it hard to believe anything our leading lady does in this. Lacey Chabert was a disaster. Her acting was one look throughout the movie. Wandering around the plane looking at every body and everything. If I were a passenger on a plane and she was doing that, I'd lock her in the bathroom. She bothered everyone. This dainty demure little thing suddenly has the strength of Goliath when she's cornered. Dropping men and even killing them without batting an eye.I was also bothered with her mouth. Seemed like she was always pouting. It was annoying. Thank heavens the supporting cast fared better. In the likes of Drew Shelley, Will Kemp, Amy Davidson (she was terrific), Jim O'Heir and Veronica Cartwight in a surprisingly different role. They all did the best they could with the likes of Chabert in the lead role. But the film LMN of course did nothing for this viewer.
