ianb330-112-344579 This movie was pushed mercilessly on Sky TV as essentially the greatest exercise in animation in recent years. Well, guess what - it isn't. Nowhere near. The animation would have been great in the early nineties, the voice acting redefined the phrase 'phoned in', and the musical score was just plain annoying. Avoid.

jwragg1 Despite a decent British cast this film is one of the worst animations I have ever seen! Its defiantly not for young kids or actually anybody as the weak script, massive plot holes and terrible jokes are just not worth the 90minutes.BUT the worst thing of all is that nobody can explain to me why everybody (not just the family) speaks in various English accents yet the film is clearly set in the US of bloody A. SET IT IN ENGLAND YOU FOOLS!!!!

briz_gallacher I find it difficult how bad his attempt is. Sky has been boasting about this dross for a while, I can only assume they hadn't watched this mess before starting their add campaign. Some of the problems: - It makes no sense, good knows where they come from. - it is badly edited, they seemed to miraculously end up in Egypt. - they managed to mess up a kids movie, it was a rehash if other movies. I guess they tried to emulate Hotel Transylvania - they failed.
