parameswaranrajendran A provoking, thoughtful and thrilling masterpiece from Bollywood. The main cast by actress Sridevi Kapoor, actor Akshaye Khanna & multi versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui are pulsating performances. "When GOD cannot be everywhere, he creates MOM to be there". I just love this movie.
Jitendra Kotai Sri Devi gets a fantastic role and gives another brilliant performance. This time it stirs your soul. Every parent would connect with her and join her in this battle. The casting is impeccable. Nawazuddin Siddique shines and every line he speaks makes you whistle and cheer for him. He plays the vulnerable and goofy detective that is brilliant at his job. He says the lines to the antagonist that summarize the movie for me "Mard Rape nahin karte be Suar" The climax is beautifully written and executed. Sri Devi's lines to antagonist will make you cry with pain. Every parent would cry with her.
hermatician The movie is a loose thriller, due to the fact that every thrill of the screen play is easily predictable. Also astonishing is the fact that Sridevi after working in numerous Hindi movies, is not able to use a neutral accent but sounds like a south Indian, when the character played by her is a Sabharwal. Neither the girl sounds like a Punjabi (Sabhrwal). Only one character gives his best and that's Nawazuddin. Although, the director probably has tried comic dialogues from the character even when its not required. Nevertheless Nawaz has pulled that off too. Sridevi in a scene cries holding her tummy, is not appreciable. The problem is an actor with such a body of work credited to her resume should have made more efforts to do her job, when only one or two of her movies are on the deck. All in all, the movie is OK and deserves not more than a 4/10. Nawaz however gets an 8/10. 2 less due to the unwanted dialogues forced on him. Akshay Khanna was a rare ingredient to the recipe and he gets 7/10. He is a good and underrated actor and he should not keep the audience deprived of his real talent.
kalshetty Yet another movie that demonizes men to show how toxic masculinity is and how women are always victims. This movie also promotes 3rd degree violence like castration and capital punishment to rapists or sexual assaulters.Any typical male bashing movie today will receive 10/10 IMDb ratings or even awards. I can't stand violence in such movies that support radical feminist ideology. Movies like "I spit on your grave" are just tip of iceberg.Such radically delusional movies better be boycotted for the good of our society.
