This has got to be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Two shifty gentlemen (one played by the irreplaceable Jaleel White) steal a car and find two dogs in the back locked in a cage. The not Jaleel White shifty guy orders Mr. White to take the caged creatures and tells drop it off of a bridge into a river. But he cannot. His conscience gets the best of him and he decides to leave them under a tree. Still caged, mind you.All of a sudden some spoiled new kid, living off of Janine Turner's 'Northern Exposure' money, finds said caged canines and proceeds to bring them home. His evil sister was apparently bitten by a dog once, and has the invisible scar to prove it, so he must hide his canine companions from Janine and sis.Charles Durning plays this old dude who goes by the handle of Captain Pete. Captain of what? I have no idea... probably a spaceship or a fleet of Oscar Meyer Wiener mobiles. He says, "Hey kid, keep the damned dogs in my closet at this old folks home. No one will ever find out." Then, hilarity ensues. Oh, and the dogs help sick people get well. Hence 'Miracle,' get it?I don't want to give it all away but it eventually spirals into an amazing tale that mirrors my own reality. The only things that could have made this FILM any better would these: 1)A script not written by a quadriplegic monkey. 2)More scenes with the jerk from Starship Troopers and 3)Nothing.'Miracle Dogs Too': Learn it. Like it. Love it.

This movie sucked balls. It's about this kid who has always wanted a dog but can't have one because of his sister's dog phobia (who wears big sunglasses to hide a tiny scar from a dog bite that she claims to have completely deformed her) and he ends up finding these dogs that have magical powers and then at the end they all get puppies. These two teenagers steal a car (the stereotypical shady guitar-playing kid convinces the nice-guy-with-good-intentions-but-finds-himself-in-a-bad-crowd Steve Urkel to "borrow" it with him) and they find the two miracle dogs in the back seat. The wannabe grunge kid tells Urkel to throw the dogs in a river or something, but Urkel just puts the cage in the middle of the woods instead.A bunch of crap happens with some old people that I don't remember and then the kid that wants a dog but can't have one because of his sister's dog phobia conveniently finds the dogs in the woods and lets them out of the cage. He's surprised why they would follow him home. He's smart. He hides the dogs from his mom in his tree house. I think. I don't remember. Wait, no, it was in that retirement home with a bunch of ugly nearly-dead people. The dogs lick their crotches and the old people all danced. The best/dumbest part of the movie happens when the sister character is in the backyard, dancing and singing to obnoxious techno music. When I say "dancing", I mean she was randomly fidgeting around, and when I say "singing", I really mean she was yelling "WOO!" every few seconds. Of course, the preppy blond neighbor boy (complete opposite to her stereotypical rebel/punk/whatever thing she has going on) next door hears her, and gos over to where he hears it. The stupid bitch is completely surprised that anyone would hear her, and acts shocked and embarrassed. The shady grunge kid and Urkel then try to steal the dogs back so they can use their miracle healing powers to exploit the sick and profit from their need for help. Shame on you. Shame. On. You. Urkel does the right thing and they get the dogs back and everyone lives happily ever after.

Paula (Janine Turner) has moved her family to the small city of Hope Springs, after a divorce. She has a daughter, Sarah, who is sixteen and deathly afraid of dogs. This is because she was once attacked by a dog and she still bears the scars above her right eye. Sarah wears dark glasses on most occasions and is pretty bored with her new place of residence. A teenage boy in the neighborhood makes friendly gestures toward her but she will have none of it. Paula also has a son, Zach, who loves his new clubhouse. After finding two dogs in the woods, Zach installs them in his secret home away from home and hopes to better their lives. Paula, herself, works as a nursing home administrator. On the job, she meets the modern version of Nurse Ratchett (Lesley Ann Warren) and the nice visiting doctor. Zach gets the idea to bring the dogs to the home when an elderly resident (Charles Durning) suggests he can keep the canines in his closet! Meanwhile, some nefarious men are looking for the dogs, for they learn in the newspaper that the furry ones have been credited with curing illnesses. Outcome, please? This is a sweet movie but there is almost too little of the darling dogs! With so many story lines, the cute canines are not on the screen nearly enough, in this viewer's opinion. Then, too, dogs and cats are credited with extending lives, but it is never explained why the mutts in this film can actually cure sickness. Nevertheless, the film has a low key charm and messages that are welcome. The cast does a fine job, although the man playing the doctor is somewhat lacking in the male lead category. Warren is a stitch as the overbearing nurse. That being said, the nice script, costumes, sets and direction make this a good choice for any family viewing. You might even play host to another miracle, that of the whole family watching and enjoying the same darn movie. Doggone, now that is incredible.

Miracle Dogs Too is way better than the first Miracle Dogs that came out in 2003. I purchased Miracle Dogs Too at Wal-Mart on Sterling DVD, and I have to say that I really loved this movie.Ten year old Zack and his Mom and older sister Sarah moves to a new town. Magical wonder awaits them. Zack befriends a pair of abandoned stolen dogs and realizes that the dogs has magic powers that helps ill people in an nursing home. Two evil crooks that abandoned the dogs in the first place finds out about the magic powers and wants them miracle dogs to make money for themselves. One crook played by Jaleel White, is tired of being crooked and the other crook Francis, (they call him Franky in the movie) has a crush on Zack's older sister Sarah and he wants to continue to stay crooked. Sarah is also afraid of dogs where she got bit when she was a child. Zack is torn between the love for the dogs, and giving the stolen dogs back to the rightful owner. Zack sets off on an adventure that will change the lives of everyone he loves. If you enjoy good clean family movies, Miracle Dogs Too is the movie that I really believe you will enjoy. Don't miss out on this wonderful story.
