Ming Lee
If you are searching for a very localized movie of Hong Kong, this can be you choice. There are some message this movie tries to deliver, since everyone in Hong Kong are working so hard and constantly under extreme pressure. People could still manage to escape from reality while having something like their lunch box. What's making me like this movie is how the movie show in such indirect presentation, once you get the idea from it, a smile or even giggling will come in follow. This movie isn't just for having a laugh, unfortunately, without certain knowledge of life in Hong Kong, it may even a meaningless movie to most of the viewers.

This movie is totally pointless. There isn't a plot actually. I didn't find this very funny actually, it's all those stupid jokes you see in Hong Kong films, stupid gags which you and me can even do better than that.I don't see the relationship between characters, and the actors seriously don't know what they are doing too in the movie! And also, this only have so little to do with McDull. So, don't the one hour of your life and money to watch this, luckily i watched this in my friend's house, and i seriously would want my one hour back. This is totally rubbish.

It's a McDull movie played 1/3 in animation and 2/3 by real actors. While there seems no interactions between the cartoon characters and the real ones, you may find later the real people in this movie are in fact McDull in a human form: ordinary people that live a mediocre life, dreamed big in childhood, having dreams crushed in adulthood and yet still manage to be happy.I would recommend this movie to McDull fans (the little piggy is so adorable, I laughed every time he said a line:)and to those who appreciate the "giving a message in a slapstick way" movie style. One more thing, Bichang Zhou, the leading actress in this movie is the first runner up of "China Idol"(also called super girls), considered by many the best female RnB singer in the country. She's only 20.
