No aporta nada. No es que sea fría, es que es sosa.La dirección. Pues más de lo mismo. Hace una película aburrida. No hace nunca planos bonitos. No sabe narrar con la cámara. Incluso a veces toma a los actores de lado y no se les ve bien.Yo no la recomendaría.
If I had to decide if I became a believer by seeing this Jesus, the answer is clear, I do not become a believer. I can not imagine a Jesus Christ as interpreted in this film. The film is not passionate and see that talking about Christ, if he has no passion, bad.The actress is fine, well no, she does not tell me anything either. It does not transmit me love, or passion, or anything at all.I do not think it's a feminist version, the truth is, it's a person more after all.The lighting is very much in line with the film, it is insubstantial. It does not support the movie at all. He supports with nothing. It's not that it's cold, it's that it's bland. The direction. Well more of the same. It makes a boring movie. It never makes beautiful shots. He does not know how to narrate with the camera. Even sometimes it takes the actors aside and it does not look good.I would not recommend it

Joaquin Phoenix acts perfectly, you believe and understand everything he is saying. He is Jesus in the movie and you have no problem accepting it . Rooney Mara is a very talented actress, and she is brilliant as Mary Magdalene. She didn't talk much in the movie, but her eyes conveyed so much love and compassion. Tahar Rahim is the best Judas ever! In this film you can actually understand why Judas did that thing to Jesus, and you feel like forgiving him. I love this movie, but I think it should be much more in it to make it perfect.

I do not believe in the bible or organized religion. I watched this movie because I love period movies and Joaquin Phoenix. It was so subtle. It did not beat you over the head with blood and pain like Passion of the Christ did. It showed Jesus conflicted, sad, angry, and scared. He somberly walked to his final days. He accepted a woman despite protests. Though the dialogue was sparse, I felt it more profoundly than any church sermon I have ever sat through. I was moved to sobs several times, especially in today's political climate. The acting was perfect, the scenery breath taking and it was beautifully quiet movie, definitely worth the watch.
