lesliebcah I liked this movie, as a cute, though not particularly deep, romance... likable main characters, very unlikable "anti"characters, but be warned... spoilers!!!! A sweet initial plot of a young musician who falls for a deaf girl who is cruelly sheltered by a controlling mother, this movie appeared to be a light romance. However, this movie had a tragically sad ending, with one of the main characters dying young of cancer. If you are, like I was,looking for a light romantic movie, be warned! This movie will make you cry. My husband and I have both lost people we love from cancer, and this was not a movie we would have chosen if we had known! It was not a bad movie, but watcher beware... not quite as cute and light as it initially seemed!
