westsideschl And you thought this was just about a horse. Well, it's about a 16 yr old who goes on a life journey facing many trials & tribulations which do strain credulity and probability. Except for the always positive endings for these type movies it is not close to being a Pollyannish Disney storyline. And to all the one, two, three star reviews yes horses die, dogs die, cats die, birds die and everything else including, astonishingly, people. And, yes, young teens can handle this movie for it's many life lessons.

mitch1989-250-591469 Slow. Depressing. I don't even know where the story line was going. Not for anyone who is sensitive to animals dying or being harmed. I'm giving it three stars instead of one just because, Steve Buscemi.

tlarraya You watch this expecting to be some twist at the end that redeeems the whole movie but there isn´t. The acting was good though.
