Synopsis

Things are upside-down in LazyTown. Stephanie, an optimistic girl with bright pink hair, comes to live in LazyTown and meets a zany mix of townspeople, including the world’s laziest super-villain, Robbie Rotten. Fortunately for Stephanie, LazyTown is also under the watchful eye of Sportacus, an athletic, super-active, slightly-above-average hero, who runs, jumps, flips and flies to the rescue in his futuristic AirShip. Sportacus always manages to save the day and to help the kids of LazyTown foil Robbie’s latest lazy schemes. The citizens of Lazytown learn the importance of things like eating right and exercising from the ultra-athletic superhero, Sportucus, who must stop the evil plots of Robbie Rotten, who hates physical activity, among other things.

Reviews

rennyraccoon Greatest Anime of all time. This is so good that it cured my Cancer. If it hadn't existed. Then I would not even be here. Writing this review right now. Loved this so much that I dodged Death's punch to my face. I am now crying because I hurt his feelings. :(Just a heads up to those who have or will get cancer in the future. Make sure that you stand up to your bullies. Just make sure you don't hurt their feelings. Instead, try your best to be nice to them. Because nobody should go through getting cancer.
philiptipper I love this programme.Robbie Rotton, the bad guy, is a fantastic rendition of a sinister Jim Carrey character, Sporticus, the good guy that gets his energy from Sports Fruit (or fruit) is a great role model for kids, and the characters in the rest of the show, especially Stingy, who has me in fits whenever he commandeers the other kids' stuff and states "Mine!", are well presented and a good likeness to what real kids can be like. I'm 27 and normally watch this show with my 3 year old, but this show even catches my eye when I'm on my own in the house and I stand watching, gormless!Fantastic!
Candicemomof3 This show is the best kids show I have seen on TV in a very long time! Blue's Clues is educational and my kids loved it but Lazy Town is fun, energetic AND educational. :D I love the focus on health and fitness. :) I have two kids, a 6 year old boy and a 3 year old girl. Both ADORE this show! We dance around and talk about what happened on the show that day. lol My son comes home and asks his sister what happened and looks forward to pd days so he can watch it himself. rofl The kids even ask for "sports candy" (aka apples) as snacks! I have a basket of them on the table for them to snack on and they love it! For myself, I love it too! The music is contagious and makes me want to get up and move. If I could find them I would buy every episode on DVD!! hehehe Sportacus is good eye candy for Moms too... rofl ;D I went to the website and found out that Sportacus is the man who produces and created the whole Lazy Town world. :D Two big thumbs up and a hardy THANK YOU to Magnus Scheving for creating a show that gets our kids (and us!) up and moving! The characters, plots, music, backgrounds... they are all captivating and educational! The things needed to help cement the lessons we're trying to teach our kids. :) Everyone should give this show a shot... :D p.s. I think that some people think things too hard. Sportacus isn't a strange man to Stephanie. He's a hero... So what if he's not related? We have friends that are close enough to be family and I would let them take my kids camping if that's what they wanted to do. :P There's enough bad stuff in the world today... why create more when it's not there?
dawlbabe34 as a 21 year old nanny of 3 children; ages 5, 3, and 1. i LOVE this show. the music is so upbeat and it sounds "techno", but with kids lyrics. i jam out to it in my car!! and not to mention, Sportacus is easily the most gorgeous man on ANY kids show. maybe even the best looking man I've seen on TV! i LOVE this show, and watch it about 3-5 times per day! i even have dance parties with the kids i nanny to all the songs from the show, and i myself know every word to the majority of the songs. i also think it has an excellent message for children about working out and eating healthy, because we all know kids don't always want to eat right. this show sets the standards high for other kids shows out there and if they ever stop showing Lazy Town, i do not know what i would do.
