This doc is by far more revealing and enlightening than END DAY. Although it may start as outrageous, little by little the tension starts to built up and draws you in so raw and so real it's just daunting. The fact that we can avoid the number one in that list and we are doing almost nothing about its just scaring the hell out of me. Quote: "I think the greatest tragedy in the universe would be to realize that we have enough intellect and enough technology to save ourselves from a killer asteroid but not enough intellect to save us from ourselves"Go on, watch it, be entertained.

I watched this program on the History Channel during Armageddon week. Of course, the title itself raises interest in the program and the brief description for the program stokes that interest further. The program promises to detail various disasters that can end our days here on earth! Each of these is discussed in reverse order of the threat to our earth. These catastrophes include cosmic disasters such as massive gamma rays, black holes that move through space that can suck the earth up, and asteroids. Other catastrophes that begin right here on earth include biological threats, viruses, artificial intelligence, and various man-made catastrophes waiting to happen. Each of the catastrophes has "experts" detailing everything you need to know about the threat and everything that you can't do about it. It stands to reason that the man-made calamities are the ones that should instill our greatest fears, of course. By the time the host got to number three, it was obvious where this program was going. Three, two, one
Global Warming! Suddenly, our experts are the host herself and Al Gore. Everyone agrees that it's happening and humanity is causing it and of course, as with all false truths, it's beyond any logical debate for anyone to dispute the fact that man is doing this dastardly deed. Surely, I will agree, as most people would, the earth's weather is changing. It always has and it always will. I will not agree that we should change everything about the way we live to fix a problem that we have absolutely no control over
Even if Al Gore says we should. We all know he's a genius.
