What can be said about a film that dares to begin right away with an established actor like Ram Kapoor continuing his hamming act of HUMSHAKALS in a silly mode and then an all amateurish cast trying to portray as if they are enjoying a lot in those ridiculously written sequences with no humour of any kind whatsoever.A supposedly sex comedy featuring Sunny Leone, who instead of entertaining the audience herself, passes on the important responsibility to Evelyn Sharma (quite strangely) who tries her best shedding off clothes in the first half.A film based on a pathetic date-game plot asking the young ones to pose as old couple reminding you of something straight from the 80s, KUCH KUCH LOCHA HAI is not KUCH KUCH LOCHA but literally representing the word LOCHA in its painfully long duration testing the viewer's patience. It has senseless writing, poor direction, overacting and double meaning dialogues thrown vaguely as a desperate try to make you laugh right from the word GO. And then even dares to offer a R. D. Burman remix of "Jaane Do Na" from film SAAGAR with all its antras re-written and re-composed trying to surpass the original with Sunny dressed in red saree copying Dimple Kapadia. Certainly a big mistake by both Ram Kapoor (who possibly did it for money or for the obvious reason) and Sunny Leone who looked like taking it seriously post EK PAHELI LEELA.In few words, if in a film promoted as a sex comedy featuring two sex bombs namely Sunny Leone and Evelyn Sharma, few youngsters decide to leave post intermission and the rest like myself choose to take a long nap in the chilling air conditioning, then that should be a perfect review for the readers to derive their own conclusions. So there is nothing more to be written about this avoidable venture.

When it comes to writing reviews for this website, I've developed a method that I believe works well and gives each project a pretty fair shot. I listen to the CD twice all the way through before writing a single word. Then I write down the track listing and as I play through for a third time I begin to make notes. This has become a self-imposed rule that I've stuck to on all but a handful of the nearly 300 reviews I've thrown up here. Sometimes I jot down quotes and sometimes just the premise for bits that grabbed my attention. I write down what stood out as really good and I write down what stood out as really bad. If a track goes by that isn't particularly noteworthy, I simply delete that line and move on to the next. By the end of the final playback, I have a skeleton of a review from which to work. For this movie sunny has acted well and the presentation of comedy was simply better you cannot get anymore better than sunny and ram cannot take eyes of her.

One knows what to expect when it comes to films like these.Story about a married, salacious 40-something man (Kapoor) who falls for international (adult) movie star (Leone) is silly, but not enough silly. It is evident from the intro frames where the film is really going - hatching a sex comedy between the primary protagonists, using slapstick and comic dialogs. Unfortunately, old formula has been highly tampered with and all that is left for its audiences to absorb are few cleavages, slurs about these cleavages, and short skirts that emphasize the cleft.People love sex comedies if they are honest, but in here there is visible honesty only about one thing: flesh show. Those expecting things from the film will receive it with pure irreverence from Leone and Sharma, who are strictly for that purpose. Other characters simply fool around with unclear intentions. Moreover, the base of the film itself is flawed - the guy probably wants to get laid with someone other than his wife, and when the time comes, refuses to acknowledge it. I have no sympathy or liking for such a character. The film is an update only for Ram Kapoor - a lucky sod who used to romance sari-clad middle-aged women in TV and now fantasizes about voluptuous actors.BOTTOM LINE: Kuch Kuch Locha Hai is an updated and modernized progeny of Bhojpuri sleaze films which used to have posters stuck inside bus stops and on street light poles - posters that had three main people in it, descriptively the boob-flashing heroine, her big-hearted (and probably well-endowed) hero lover, and her knife-wielding villain lover. You know what to expect. 1/10 - avoid. Can be watched with a typical Indian family? NOAlcohol: Mild | Profanity/Vulgarity: Medium
