I cant believe Arnold backed this. Terrible, horrible, unfunny, uninspired train wreck of a movie. I hated the movie so much that it promoted me to write this review. A complete an utter waste of time. Arnold if your reading this all I can say man is........Apologize for this mess you owe us that much.

'KILLING GUNTHER': Four Stars (Out of Five)An action-comedy written and directed by debut feature filmmaker Taran Killam. Killam also costars in the movie, with Arnold Schwarzenegger (in the title role), Bobby Moynihan (Killam's SNL costar), Hannah Simone, and Cobie Smulders (Killam's wife). The film tells the tale of a group of assassins that are attempting to kill the world's greatest assassin, Gunther, but he keeps outwitting them. It's received mixed (average) reviews from critics, and it's now available for rent on video and VOD. I found it to be surprisingly entertaining, and much better than I had expected actually. Blake (Killam) is a professional hitman who decides he needs to kill the world's greatest assassin, named Gunther (Schwarzenegger), in order to become more famous. So he recruits an entire team of eccentric hitmen, and hitwomen, in order to help him do it. He also hires a documentary film crew to record everything they do, in order to prove their accomplishment. Gunther is always able to outwit the team's every move though. The film is hilarious, from beginning to end. Parts of it are really silly, but I found it all to be pretty funny. If you're expecting a lot of Arnold Schwarzenegger, he doesn't really come into the movie until the climax though, but once he comes on screen, he steals every scene he's in. It's also totally entertaining. So I had a blast watching the film, and I didn't even think it looked that good (from the trailer). I think if you're an SNL type humor fan (especially Killam and Moynihan), and a Schwarzenegger fan, you'll definitely enjoy this movie. It's a little like an SNL skit that's extended into a movie, and a really good one at that, guest starring Arnold Schwarzenegger!

It is easy to explain why Arnold was in this movie, he is one of the producers so he had his money tied up in it. I certainly hope he get his money back. I can understand why he is producing more of his movies and this movie does let Arnold stretch his acting muscles. He has got a lot of miles left in him but I he realizes that he has to ease up on the kick ass roles since he will be 70 this year. That is hard to believe and I hope he paces himself since he does not have to prove anything to his dedicated fan, of which I am one. The movie held my interest and I was looking for Arnold to show up and he did and he delivered. I don't want to take away from this project but I say a number of similarities to The Lady Killers (2004) with Tom Hanks. It is worth at least one look see.

I watched this because i thought it is an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, but it is not! it's not like there aren't wolves in wolfs of wall street! arnie is in cover but it's an advertising trick. you won't see him until 68th minute of a 93 minute movie! leave this aside it's a documentary style comedy/action movie with low budget special effects that tries to be funny with its characters but does not succeed.
it gets boring soon and i watched the last 20 minutes writing this review! in overall tolerable until the end but a 4 out 10 stars...
