siavash_khavarnejad This movie was boring and not funny at all. The premise is super off the wall and wacky but the comedy fails to deliver. Bad acting and writing and this is just a mess without even being funny as promised.
Woodyanders The meek and modestly endowed Betty Downer (a solid and appealing portrayal by Jessica Zwolak) decides to get breast enhancement surgery from mad scientist Dr. Kate Thulu (broadly played with lip-smacking zest by Debbie Rochon), who turns out to be a worshipper of evil elder gods that she's trying to bring into our world with her surgical work. Director Gregory Lamberson keeps the delightfully off-the-wall story zipping along at a brisk pace, maintains an amiable lighthearted tone throughout, and delivers a handy helping of outrageously excessive gore. The witty script by Paul McGinnis not only has some sharp and funny stuff to say about American culture's crass objectification of the female body, but also offers a wealth of sidesplitting cinematic in-jokes that spoof everything from "King Kong" to "Street Trash." Moreover, the cast have a ball with the wacky material, with especially spirited contributions from McGinnis as nice guy Tim, Michael Thurber as sleazy boss Mr. Raquel, Lloyd Kaufman as loopy shrink Dr. Foin, Sam Qualina as insensitive jerk boyfriend Dutch, and Brooke Lewis as the voice of the titular deadly bazooms. Super catchy theme song, too. A total hoot.
Jenniferi716 This movie was hysterical! First off, I appreciated the stereotyping behind the storyline...that women with smaller breasts are more self conscious and in some instances at a disadvantage; whether it be at work, with friends, or even with their boyfriend. Unfortunately this is a true fact in our society...think of Hooters Restaurants. Then, after the main character undergoes unnecessary humiliation that had nothing to do with her as a person, she gets her "beast" I mean "breast enhancement." The entire movie is hilarious. We laughed the entire time. But it also hits hard on the issue of looks, and how people put such an emphasis on it...even to the point of bullying. But in the end self-preservation wins over evil. The special effects were great. The music was awesome. Casting great. Some of the side characters were super funny as well. All in all, great performances, directing and production.
ikonmediahouse A brilliant comedy movie. Hysterically funny, and well worth watching. I was not sold on the movie, the trailers looked trash, the story seemed beyond redemption, the movie seemed doomed to failure, hyped to disappoint. I was wrong. This movie is an original comedy classic which is going to have a cult following in no time. If you have not seen this movie, there is something wrong with you. I loved everything in the movie. Learning that something that looked so natural was CGI and finding out that the others were not CGI but controlled by puppeteers, and I'm sure you'll have a problem working out which is which, and in all honesty, you have to go and give this movie a try. Relax, let yourself go and lose yourself in some comedy gold right out of Buffalo, NY.
