How's this for a typical, bad, teen horror film: a bunch of horny, booze-swilling college kids meet up at a secluded house in the woods (with no cell phone reception, of course), spend the first fifteen minutes of the film saying stupid things to each other and are then menaced by a psycho killer whose motivation makes no sense. Throw in some Saw, as the killer says pseudo-profound things to the victims via walky talky and the blood begins to flow. Also toss in some of the most over the top, melodramatic acting this side of afternoon soap operas. Trust me, you've seen this film over and over again since you were 13, only (in most cases) better. Terrible straight-to-video horror film (like most STV horror films are).

I heard of this movie from IMDb and I actually had never heard of it before. It had a low 5.6 rating but after reading some positive reviews I decided to give it a try and Im glad I did. It story line thats somewhat original for a slasher and its executed very well. The acting is good right up until the scenes where they are forced to use emotion then some of the actors are shaky. This movie is about a man who its just getting out of jail on a manslaughter charge. He was rock climbing with his friends when the rop above him was going to snap he decided to cut the rope and drop his two friends to their death. His lawyer said normal people wouldn't make the same choice and this man set out to prove him wrong using a group of college kids as his test subjects.I actually really enjoyed this movie and I think it deserves more then a measly 5.6. It was a solid original idea and it was one of the more entertaining slasher movies I have seen.

10/10 for this movie. I totally loved it.. every death scene was great. I was shocked at many parts. The first one, was went Alex was betrayed by her own brother and drowned in the pond outback. I really thought she'd make it to the end. She was strong, and beautiful. I never really expected Brent to get as far as he did... especially when he was shot... as for that cry baby, he should have gone sooner as far as im concerned. Jennifer's character shocked me the MOST. She always seemed so innocent and adorable. I wasn't a fan of hers, but i was truly shocked when she tried to kill her boyfriend at the end. When Amber was shot, i was really sad. Amber was my favorite. But when she kicked Jen's a**, it was awesome. I was happy Amber made it out. of all people i didn't think she would in the beginning. But if u look back on it, Amber was very sneaky and careful about what she did. She was weak, and thats how she played it out. She kept a calm, clear head until she had to kill towards the end. She killed her ex who left her, and killed the rest of her friends. That was the best death scene of the movie. When she came up from down cellar and read the note, "NO MORE PILLS AMBER. USE THIS..." and she pulled out a gun i was shocked. I thought she was gonna kill them both. But she didn't, instead she got shot which she recovered from later which was pretty shocking and a little too un-realistic. But overall great movie definitely worth watching. Carlos was another one to watch die :( I liked him, but i knew his personality would make him one of the first to go. And i was even more sure of that when his girlfriend died. My prediction was right, Carlos didn't think with a clear mind which is why he didn't make it in the end, and Amber did.
