The Couchpotatoes Movies based on a true story always have more of my attention then others. And when they are well made like this one then you can't go wrong watching it. The story of a couple of potheads trying to make money by importing top of the league marijuana from Canada to the United States. An easy but also dangerous way of getting rich in no time. They should stop when they had enough but once you get so much money you only want more. It makes you wonder why the government doesn't just legalize the whole thing and make a sh*tload of money out of it. Plus it's just weed, nothing bad at all about that, not like alcohol that destroys more lives then you could imagine. Anyways, I enjoyed the whole movie, all actors were good and the story was good as well. I recommend it!
Barry P Comedies about pot are getting so stale nowadays and this doesn't bring anything original to the genre. I'll laugh if there's reason to but the writer of this movies tries way way way too hard to get a laugh which takes me out of it. I don't want to add spoilers (wont really matter for this movie but still wont) but the laughs are so few far and between, as if this is for people who are high and will laugh at anything. There might be a moment or two but this is yet another rehashed version of the 100's of stoner movie i watched over last decade and offers nothing different. I just wished the writer was more talented and worked on his comedic substance and timing a little better. If you are paralyzed, watch TV all day and have watched everything else on Netflix, then I guess I can kind of recommend. Just don't watch if you have to pay for it or have a life.
chaython The acting was horrible, if you look at production dates and the gross revenue it is evident no publisher liked this movie, and no one payed to watch it, people have only watched it through Netflix. The movie is inaccurate in the fact that 300lbs Is only worth about 480000 street. I don't know how much they legitimately bought and sold in real life but the pricing was definitely inaccurate in the movie. Also a trafficker would not be paid such a huge percentage. There was also maybe 10lbs of weed in the suppliers grow room. This movie was not comedic, I had no emotion when they were being robbed, this whole production seems as if a few kids came together made a movie with their friends and asked two of the lowest budget pro actors to give them three minutes of footage. The whole experience was a major waste of time, and I'm disgusted by the fact that I wasted these few hours of my life. The soundtrack was also horrible white kids rapping.
ponchoiram not as bad as i though very entertaining in some aspects, tits, and adventure its seems a very unreal for a based on a true story because those kids were stupid! i like the idea of the guy hiding some cash for the future that was a great idea but why everyone that is making money has to spend it like idiots..?the movie if its based on a true events its kind of unreal, and seemed to easy for those guy to smuggle, just like oh! let me just go to Canada and get some pot, well go on the woods and cross it home and that's all, super easy right, then from no reason change of cars, house, money and no one notices!?? even the weird mom doesn't say much like oh were did u get it? i don't care!??WTF!???
