"Sorry, we will make the movie you wanted to see next time." Can pretty much sum up this entire film. The fear and dread in the first 2 were what made them both so iconic and classics, Well at least the first one anyways.
This has nothing to do with being against Victor, and I wanted to say that the camera work, editing and choice of cinematography was great. But damn, why make a choice to slow down the pacing and focus on these one dimensional characters with hardly any interesting backstory? Another thing.. they could've saved up a big budget to have good amount of nighttime scenes. The big problem is, there was nothing to fear.. everything about the creeper felt comical, comedic and flat. No explanations, lack of action, laughable use of CGI, cheap/plastic props. The twist or if you even wanna call it a twist.. nah don't even get me started. Lastly, since when did the creeper have this equipment to make these CGI booby traps???...
I'm saying that half these sequels that come out on a daily basis lack action, story and a habit of rehashing the plot.
If you wanna have some good laughs, watch it. You might be surprised how quickly the franchise changes tones. It really hurts to say that too.

We already know this demon is completely impervious to everything hence invincible hence why is there a sequel? Or prequel... whatever. The film wastes no time on gore and action, I'll give it that. From the first minute - it's on, which can't be said of many horror films that waste time on "character study" and "build-up". Unfortunately, the flick also wastes no time on being stupid.1. A truck that attacks cops and contains dozens of corpses is practically ABANDONED by cops, towed away like some ordinary vehicle by just two of them. DUMB.2. The demon leaves the two cops - then comes back. Why did he leave in the first place? Why did he kill just one of them? Demons work in mysterious ways.3. And why does the female cop point her gun at him - while he's killing another cop - yet doesn't shoot? This is a COP, aren't they supposed to be trigger-happy? If there is anything that should trigger the happiness to pull the trigger, it's facing a demon. Hasn't Hollywood's Left been telling us for decades that American cops can't wait to kill someone? DUMB.4. Why isn't the army involved? The cops use an ancient machine-gun instead, as if the military is too busy to send troops to help out this town. Because OBVIOUSLY every little town should be able to handle a major supernatural threat on their own, without pestering the Pentagon for help.5. The four teens discovering the truck - a fun scene but so stupid.6. "No phone service here". Really? 2017, and still we have the new-old "can't get a signal here" baloney. Horror writers and mobile phones: they just can't seem to solve that obstacle. Writers of thrillers and horrors must hate mobile phones.7. OK, fine, we know the demon is powerful and a world-class athlete and all, but how the hell did it manage to impale both teens with one spear throw when the teens were running away next to each other as opposed to one behind the other? Even "Transporter 3" doesn't play around with basic laws of physics to such a silly extent.8. That stupid argument between the cops over the demon's severed hand. There are better ways to do exposition. And there are times when no exposition is needed: we get it, the hand is key, stop boring us with nonsense.9. The fat cop's only purpose seems to be to be a nuisance and for others to waste screen time trying to convince him to get on with the program.10. Does the guy who directed/wrote this even know how a ricochet works? Ricochet doesn't mean "goes back to sender" as Salvo seems to believe. Pretty silly.11. The truck driver turns his back on the monster to phone the cops. Why must everyone be an imbecile, Salvo?Despite being stupid, it's not an awful movie because it isn't too boring and visually it avoids the modern trappings of being mono-colour. It's refreshing to see a normal-looking horror film that isn't filmed through drab blue-grey filters. Would have been a tighter film if it'd been trimmed 15 minutes or so; lousy useless dialog and other nonsense waste screen time.

We waited 14yrs for a third part to the Jeepers Creepers franchise, but did it deliver?Well let me clarify the previous 2 movies got a 3 and a 5 from me so they've hardly blown me away. I did however want to see the series continue and was looking forward to this.Sadly the road to release wasn't easy for Jeepers Creepers 3, people didn't care about the movie so much as wish to boycott it due to the director/writer Victor Salva being a convicted paedophile. This frustrated me because though I understand peoples wishes to screw over this disgusting human being they are too blinkered. Can we kindly remember that this movie provided the livelihood of hundreds of people not just Salva, bigger picture people. And the movie, isn't half bad actually. In fact I'd say it's the best one yet. Full of interesting ideas, great kills and really builds up the mythology.Sadly that's also its greatest flaw. This third part really humanizes the creeper, takes it away from being a mysterious creature cloaked in shadow. We now begin to find out it's origins, but alas the movie poses questions, gives the characters the answers but never relays them to the audience. This wouldn't be so bad if it were a AAA movie guaranteed another part but this simply isn't. Will we get answers? Will we get a 4th part? Will we wait almost 15yrs for it again? Will it even get made due to the boycotting? If they'd done a better ending complete with answers then I'd consider Jeepers Creepers 3 a really quite good film but in its current state it's enjoyable but flawed. The Good:Some great charactersWell castThe Bad:Very much feels like a made for tv movieFAR too open endedThings I Learnt From This Movie:Meg Fosters eyes still stun me

The "Jeepers Creepers" franchise should have stopped after the first movie. The sequel, "Jeepers Creepers II", was less than mediocre in comparison to the first, and this third movie is just downright abysmal and boring. The storyline was inadequate and really had no solid story to sell. And it seemed like they were just making things up as they went along for the most part. I wasn't impressed in any way."Jeepers Creepers III" had some very dull and one-dimensional characters milling about on the screen, which really didn't help to promote the enjoyment of the movie. The movie was full of predictable events, and that didn't help to improve on the movie that was already fast sliding downhill. I actually fell asleep from sheer boredom. Yep, the movie was that boring. The only reason why I am rating this third installment of "Jeepers Creepers" a four out of ten stars rating is because of the special effects, the creature design, and also because there was a fair amount of killing in the movie. However, and let's be bluntly honest, "Jeepers Creepers III" is not really worth the effort.
