Surprisingly, I found director Matt Chow's ITCHY HEART to be quite entertaining. In the film, Lau Ching-Wan plays a married man who runs into a former lover (played by Carina Lau) and a free-spirited young beauty (played by Cherrie Ying) while is wife is out of town with a girlfriend. Feeling a bad case of the seven year itch, he tentatively rekindles one relationship and embarks on another. The results are at times funny, at times sad, at times romantic, and at times silly. As is the case with most Hong Kong romantic comedies, the cast is the main determinant of whether or not you will find the film to be satisfying. As such, if you are fans of Lau Ching-Wan, Carina Lau, or Cherrie Ying, you will probably like this film. Andy On's character is too much of a doofus to really take seriously.I, being a fan of the aforementioned Lau's, rated it a 7 out of 10.

The stars in this film look hot, Cherrie Ying and Carina Lau are both very beautiful ladies. Though the pace are slow and the situation are much predicted, the acting and the type of situation are fantastic in this movie. Sean Lau and his Wife has been married for 7 years and their relationship is sour (rarely talk to each other). His wife decided to go to vacation with her friends, this leave Sean Lau alone. He met Carina Lau his ex-girlfriend (who became a successful business woman) and start to hang out with Cherrie Ying. Andy On is funny in this movie, he is love with Carina Lau. Even though he is big and get angry easily he really has a soft heart. Lau Ching Wan, what can i say, he play great in any role he receive. This movie is certainly is above average comedy romance fluff you see, and it remain me to Men Suddenly in Black (one of my favourite) where everyone is cheating. I recommend watching this, it is no Lost in TIme but it sure is entertaining (with the hot stars)
