jl-daly Is Harry on the Boat is a hilarious tale of holiday reps in Ibiza, portraying the typical 18-30's holiday to a tee! The actors performances are brilliant, Danny Dyer as new rep Brad, introduced to the debauchery, including an interesting competition, as we are by the hilarious Wil Mellor as Greg. And of course we cant forget Marios 'Big Man!!!'.A brilliant film full of laughs that I would recommend to anyone! Though it is not without its serious moments the laughs come thick and fast. A summer movie to watch with mates that makes you dream of holidays, or even packing in your day job and signing up to be a rep yourself!!p.s The soundtrack generates much interest but an official soundtrack was never released unfortunately. However i do know that one of the songs is Jaydee- Plastic Dreams. its from my favourite bit of the film so check it out for yourself!!!
browneclan Sky One again takes residence in the clubbers capital of Ibiza. The teenage stars of the 21st Century take centre stage in this tv movie focusing on the adventures of a group of reps in Ibiza. This show has comedy, romance, drama, and sexual scenes all round, and all in abundance. A little of the acting may seem a little hammy, and a bit of the story may seem forced upon, but all that is overlooked if you appreciate the sheer vulgar comedy and sex scenes which will have you wanting to see more. Is Harry on the Boat? I would have to say he is totally on the ball.
timtactoker I had read the book and that was a good read. The film had the usual cast you'd expect, a mixture from Human traffic, Hollyoaks, Eastenders and Ralph Little made a cameo. It didn't really translate to film that well, as it didn't explain the characters and their relationships enough. However it was shot well, in a kinda quirky style not too original though. In summary watch it for a laugh but the book is a lot less superficial.
nuinfluences I have not read the book but I will now an amazing cast a cracking example of what great young talent the uk has to offer Danny Dyer is just perfect as the lead Brad, The storyline is nice and flowing and although it isnt quite like the ibiza i remember, it was closeWell worth a watch ....
