Sjalka Rjadottir To start with ... i found that movie to be entertaining. I never felt bored - or regretted watching it.It is a comedy/satire but not as blunt (as in Saturday Night Live blunt) .. but sometimes more subtle (however - subtle in that context still means pretty much "in your face!")Considering the low budget (actually i did not check the budget - i just assume) - it pulls off quite a high production value in terms of visuals as well as acting. The story itself is ridiculous and funny .. and the movie knows it. 7/10 for a good time watching that movie ... 9/10 if you are drunk.

Ole Sandbaek Joergensen The film is overall all right, it has some great ideas and some very nice scenery and props, but the story is definitely better for the first part of the movie then the end, they should maybe have worked a little more with that.I do mostly like the things that are taking part on the moon itself, there is a lot of imagination, clever outfits, great scenery and all-in-all those parts works very well. The parts that take place on earth are good in the attack and plan revealing, but the presidential things are mostly lame and not even funny.I will give this film a little extra for the very obvious ode to the genre and the clever references, even the clothing and scenery deserves some credit. This is entertaining and worth a watch, might even get Cult status at some point :)

Paul May Damn good fun movie. Much silliness. Full of plot holes, but those holes match the genre well and can (and should) be ignored.There's a few items of silliness, a lot of ridiculousness, and a good fun poke at several of the tropes of the style.The 'zeppelins' are, of course, a staple, and a well-done version of the trope.The small ships are appropriately menacing, with the iconic 88mm long gun. We'll ignore where the propellant's from....The Tardis was an interesting addition.Watch it, support and get the second one.

info-802-162025 Although Germans are not used to jokes about Nazis I love this movie and I am German. Iron Sky is set in 2018 and begins on the moon. Two American astronauts are one-small-stepping when they happen across a concealed lunar city in the shape of a swastika. It's a secret Nazi base! On the moon! Full of Nazis! This is a future in which the Nazis, after losing the second world war, escaped to the moon, whence they are now returning in flying saucers to conquer Earth. The movie is full of details, jokes and well played characters. Director Timo Vuorensola really did a great job! Iron Sky is a movie made with love and passion. In my opinion this is one of the best and funniest movies ever made. The story is great. The set is awesome. The actors are well chosen and do a great job. The special effects are amazing. If you haven't seen this movie yet you should. I bought it on Bluray directly when it was available and I am looking forward to watch/buy Iron Sky: The Coming Race soon.
