The body-switch comedy, dead? Popycock. It's simply been waiting for an exciting new talent like writer-director-actor Heather Fink to come along.Fink stars as Stephanie, a young New Yorker whose efforts to spice up her too-comfortable relationship with boyfriend Ryan (Marshall Stratton) leads to the purchase of a mysterious, Rube Goldberg-y sex toy. Fade out, fade in, and the couple are horrified to learn the gadget's true, unadvertised purpose -- Ryan's consciousness has been transferred into Stephanie's body, hers into his. We've seen this before, of course, but Fink gives us a new surprise at every turn. And while the two leads have terrific chemistry, the film works best when they're allowed to go their separate ways, test driving their new bodies, seeing old friends through new eyes, and having their preconceptions about life as the opposite sex shattered. (Like Ryan, have you fellows always daydreamed about the "sexy" women's locker-room? Fugeddaboudit.)I was lucky enough to see Ms. Fink introduce this feature in Boulder as part of her cross-country tour, and the audience had an absolute blast. "Inside You" will hit streaming platforms this month, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.Put the kids to bed, enjoy the show, and please -- be careful where you buy your sex toys.

This was such an excellent movie! I love movies where I can relate to the characters and see a little bit of myself in them. This movie proves that you don't have to have fancy sets or big names to have a great movie. The comedy in the movie was quite refreshing and enjoyable, and still tasteful without being overly crude. I know Heather Fink will go on to do great things because she is just that awesome!

Inside You serves up a "filmic device" creating a marriage of hilarity and philosophy. Heather Fink takes her audience deep inside the dynamics of relationships with forensic accuracy revealing the ineffable absurdity of couple-hood that somehow works out in the end. Crafty dialogue is deftly delivered - this is independent filmmaking at its best!

Inside You is a fun time and watching this movie will make anyone smile. The joy and humor put into this film come through in every scene. Heather Fink is a pleasure to watch. This film reminded me of the lighthearted romps from the 80s. Plus, the New York scenery of places you don't usually see in films is refreshing.
