Claudio Carvalho
The publicist Claudio (Tony Ramos) and the housewife and choral teacher Helena (Glória Pires) have been married for many years, but they do not understand and respect the feelings and view point of the partner. Claudio sees Helena as a shopper and "little teacher of a choral" and Helena sees Claudio as an insensitive and rough man. On the night before the fiftieth anniversary of Claudio, Mars, Earth and Jupiter are aligned and Claudio and Helena argue with each other at home and they speak at the same time "If I were you
" On the next morning, when they wake-up, they have switched bodies and they have to face the difficulties of the other in the agency, in the school and with their friends and acquaintances."Se Eu Fosse Você" does not have an original idea, since there are many movies of switch of sex, but it is very funny and witty. Glória Pires is fantastic, very beautiful and is also responsible for some of the best moments of the movie. Tony Ramos is "too male", he does not have that "gay thing" that some actors usually show in their interpretations; therefore his body expression and movements as a woman are not natural as his role required. Anyway, his lines and situations are hilarious and his chemistry with Glória Pires is perfect. The rest of the cast is also excellent and this movie is a great entertainment. My vote is eight.Title (Brazil): "Se Eu Fosse Você" ("If I Were You")

Cláudio and Helena have been married for many years. He is a hard-working publicist, with a macho attitude. She organizes a children choir at a school, and runs the family house. One night they have a serious argument, and each of them states that the other one's life is more rewarding. They go to bed, and when they wake up, they realize their bodies have been switched. After that, they have to find out what happened, while living each other's life, with its troubles and benefits.Surely enough, you've seen movies with similar stories. This one is not original at all, we see the conflicts between two different worlds, through the eyes of initially unsympathetic characters. Eventually, they learn their lessons of mutual acceptance and respect. However, this movie has two tings going for it. First, there are many really hilarious scenes, that can actually make you laugh out loud, much more than I've laughed watching any other "battle of the sexes" movie (and certainly any other "body switching" movie as well). The other factor is the acting, plain brilliant, by both Tony Ramos (as Cláudio) and Glória Pires (as Helena). They give life to theirs characters, make them funny, and are, in great part, responsible for the great outcome.Overall, it isn't a masterpiece, but its first class entertainment, with lots of laughter and fun.

A movie that if you watch you're gonna say: What wast of time!! The history is so uncreative that I supposed those people who made the movie had watched 3 or 4 movies with the same kind of blah-blah-blah. Totally plagiarism. It's just an adaptation of Brazilian novels which means that you must keep distance. The only point that I could give a positive point is the acting of Tony Ramos. He's good on screen and 2 or 3 times I have to admit that he put a little smile on my face but mostly of time he was to fake. Gloria Pires (the actress) doesn't deserve any comments...
