The 1998 film, "I Love You, Don't Touch Me" should have changed it's name to "I'm Garbage, Don't Watch Me." Despite this movie's flaws, it did manage to become, unquestionably, one of the worst films I have ever seen in my life...ever. Bad acting, horrible direction, and clichés every few lines of dialogue about the feminist female psyche make "I Love You..." not only bad, but painstakingly unwatchable as well. But hey, at least it had robotic, unfunny, campy dialogue working for it, right? Oh wait.

I can't believe there are people out there that don't like this movie. It's great! I saw it on a lark and it's wormed it's way into my heart as being among my top 10 favorites. A lot of people compare Julie Davis to Woody Allen. Yes, that's true. But I also think she's a lot like Susan Seidelman. If you've ever seen Smithereens or Desperately Seeking Susan, you'd know what I'm talking about. The film has it all-comedy, great singing and heartfelt emotion. Yes, a lot of what this girl says and does contradicts itself-but that's life and that's what makes this film realistic. This film has an independent feel and is not "Hollywood" at all. The ending is a little pat, but I forgive it that. I anxiously await Ms. Davis next movie! If you see this on cable, watch!!!!!!!!!!!!

(some spoilers) If you are a sucker for love stories with relationships, sex, boyfriends and stuff, then you might not despise this movie too much. If you're not, then DON'T WATCH IT! You'll deeply regret it! The movie is totally stupid from the beginning til the end. Actually even the first scene of the film is stupid and characterizes the whole movie.A 25 yo virgin girl is torn by conflicts between her mind and her sexual needs. A guy is madly in love with her for 3 years, but she keeps ignoring him. She is in the look of the perfect guy, and in her vision that means "a guy with a big penis and a big wallet". And that is said by a young woman, who has never had sex in her entire life and during the whole movie acts and gives the impression of being a very gentle nice girl. Actually the whole movie is torn between conflicts and is fed up with stupid scenes. I can only remember now the scene where Katie raises the voice a little bit and a glass breaks behind her! I mean come on! Be serious here, people! Pathetic and stupid! Anyway it's useless to stay here and think about the movie, i'll only be wasting my time. All i can say is that it's one of the stupidest movies i've seen lately. Vote: 3 out of 10.

What happened to the end of this movie? Did the money suddenly run out? We're left hanging and there's no reasonable conclusion to the story. Had this unbelievable oversight been corrected, the movie could have merited at least another star, or perhaps two.
