If you love horror flicks full of suspense with a retro "Tales from the Darkside" type feel ...you've found the right film!

Throwback to the anthology horror/farce film genre. This reminded me of anthology and vignette films like "Tales from the Crypt." Nice that they had the consistency of the same hotel/motel setting. Definitely an indie budget, reusing the same hotel rooms vignette after vignette. A bit more humor and outlandish farce than horror with a distinct altered or alternate reality feel in every Segment. If you enjoy strange realities like the Twilight Zone, you will love this. I really enjoyed Segment 4, Brain Robbers in Love - the comeuppance that smug uptight lady got was satisfying and poetic.

I saw Horror Hotel the Movie and was relieved it was not wall to wall blood and guts but rather a funny and light ride with lots of comedy. OK so its low budget, but in my humble opinion this type of film has buckets more creativity then industry vehicles like Paranormal Activity. I thought the camp aliens coming to earth to get dates was really funny, so if you like camp check it out and have a great time! What's not to like???????

This compilation has a very specific tone: Camp! Kind of a Twilight Zone meets Rocky Horror Picture Show (minus the dance numbers). Love the space alien chicks ("I really am an illegal alien"). Cute and a lot of fun. Cast are all along for the ride. They keep the camp tone in perfect sync. You can tell the actors had a great time making it :) The cinematography is very good. Production value excellent. Nice wardrobe choices. Interesting music choices. This would be an interesting weekly television series. Not sure if this was conceived as a film with segments or a web series that was good enough to tun into a film. Or a pitch for a TV series. Whatever, it's fun and not a bad way to spend some time!
