One of the funniest and light-hearted Chinese movies out there! It's a MUST WATCH! Every characters was fantastic! They each gives me a different feeling about them:Michelle Yeoh is still as handsome and cool as Wing Chun in here! Love how she fights!Sharla Cheung is really beautiful and her first appearance to this show is really cool! At the same time she and Charine Chan's character are also quite funny. They both look very charming in their ninja clothes.Sandra Ng, like always never fails to be the funniest person in the show. This was the first show I saw her in, and it has always been her very very very very best one to me. Look forward to see how silly she is in this show.Dicky Cheung is impressive, funny like always. But Sandra Ng is still funnier!!!Maggie Cheung is cute as the naughty and spoiled princess, she's adventurous and gives me the feeling like I'm watching a cartoon character.Carol Cheng is also very funny in the show!BIG BONUS TO THE SHOW: All the fighting stuff are super cool and awesome!!!!! Compared to modern movies with so much technologies in use, every fighting scenes here are way more realistic and so memorable!

The Seven Maidens aka The Holy Weapon is a movie that mere words cannot do it justice, it has to be seen to be believed. Wong Jing and his wild script along with a tremendous cast make this movie a pure joy ride.Maggie Cheung, Sandra Ng, Michelle Yeoh, "Sharla" Cheung Man, Carina Lau are among the maidens that unite to form the perfect weapon. Fast paced fight scenes and wild action set pieces make this one a winner. I love watching this movie. This movie is what the Hong Kong Cinema is all about. What's not to love about Wong Jing's "everything but the kitchen sink" style of film-making? Tex Avery would have been proud. This movie has all of Wong Jing's trademarks, pretty women, blatant movie parodies, over the top fighting and low brow toilet humor. What more could a true fan ask for?Highly recommended A++Factoids: Wong Jing was making three movies at the same time when he was filming the Holy Weapon. Rumor has it that Dennis Chan and Ching Siu-tung took turns directing the movie in Wong Jing's absence. Most of the cast reunited for a semi-sequel called Flying Dagger

This movie is amazing. If you like wild, sword-fighting, beautiful women, violence all wrapped around an ancient fable - then this movie is for you. It is so out there - yes, the sub-titled version I viewed was pretty bad - so it was hard to follow the "story" but it doesnt matter - everyone is after the legendary swordsman with "Heaven's Sword" but the action sequences are stunning and there are images and special effects in this movie that put most comic books and all Hollywood action movies to shame. Guilty, messy fun!!!

An employee at my favorite video store in town has a more, er, colorful title (a far more crude way of saying "Holy Fecal Matter!") written on the box of this film - & you'll be saying it to yourself a few minutes into this exceedingly strange & wonderful piece of Hong Kong lunacy. It's utter madness from start to finish.I've seen this movie twice & I still am not sure what it's about - within the first ten minutes you see men battling each other on the backs of men with wings. I have yet to see a movie come out of America, without digital effects, that so much resembles a comic book in its ideas & style. It's so much fun. Both Maggie Cheung & Michelle Yeoh (two-thirds of the Heroic Trio) are in this, & if those Hong Kong lovelies aren't enough, let me just say this: people I know have watched this while doing certain illegal substances & found new insights into their lives, but I have watched it stone-cold sober & felt like I had been tripping for hours afterwards.
