GUENOT PHILIPPE Who could not see the resemblance with PATTY HEARST film made by Paul Schrader or even Sidney Lumet's RUNNING ON EMPTY, about escaped of kidnapped wealthy daughters who suddenly feel better in their new life than in their older one? This is always an interesting character study, no matter the directing. Of course it is better with a good film maker and actors. The Indian movie industry gives many good surprises for European audiences, even the few who can see them. Most of the comments are from India for those features, such a shame.
ashutoshdimri This story is copied from original serial Zee TV serial Rishtey. I can't believe Imtiaz Ali so cheater person .This was the story from serial Zee TV serial Rishtey :Cast: Aditya Srivastava, Kartika Rane, Manish Chaudhari Vinay and Veera are going to be married in a week. They meet stealthily as they are forbidden to meet before the wedding. They go for a drive on the highway, but unfortunately, some thugs kidnap Veera. Vijay, the head of the gang, regularly supplies girls to brothels and Veera is his latest catch. He plans to sell Veera but the plan is put on hold as he learns that her fiancé' s father is a police commissioner. Veera tries her best to escape, but is unsuccessful. Somehow, Vijay and Veera begin to get emotionally involved with each other. Veera and Vijay spend time together escaping to another place. Veera confides to him that she was raped as a child. She tells him that she feels very safe when he is around because he would not let any harm befall her. Having a change of heart, Vijay asks her to escape and return to her home. Will Veera go back to Vinay or choose to stay with Vijay?
prashanthvedartham What stands out to me in the movie are cast, costumes, script and dialogues & songs - magically weaved into each other! The film itself does remarkably well in redefining the meaning of what safety is and where freedom could be found.Direction and Writing : Prodigious - forces you to respect Imtiaz again for his originality.Cast: Just seems so neat. Esp. every supporting Bhati has done a great job! Hooda is surreal in blending into the character throughout. This character should have lionized Randeep more in the industry. And, Alia (with my prejudged idea of her being less than acceptable for her skills) actually is spot on in some scenes with fabulous and natural acting, a mixture of innocence and childlike foolishness.Music/Songs: Rustic, earthy, fuses so very well into the story!Cinematography : Well done with some great shots at the Himalayas!7.6 is an underrating and hence I want to give full marks to take the score up. Just cannot think of any points to hold back. One of the best original works I have seen recently!
Shubham Gupta this movie is totally a waste of time. according to me who has created this bitch movie would really a bitch. useless , worthless , without any motive this movie has created and the moron actress has done the movie just for money. this movie has no sense no concept and no idea i think these types of movies should not be clear from the sensors board. there must be penalty on both director and producer for wasting the public time. the entire story is about a girl who is seeking happiness in a criminal not in his home. spoiler The pronoun-filled line is one of the most cited among fans as being confusing at best, and an outright mistake at worst. But the almost imperceptible flick of the pen in hand reveals the "they" in his sentence to be not "the investors," but the experts riding in the Jeep ahead. The terrible wording butchers the line entirely; if it were clearer, then the later scenes of Grant, and Malcolm being unconvinced while saw only profits would be twice as interesting. As it stands, it's a line best ignored in a movie famed for its quotable monologues.
