Me and my friends used to watch this over and over. Really basic idea but hilarious. And it's on YouTube for free if you look it up :)

His Vietnam rant and his build-up to confronting his boss's wife in his apartment are all timers for comedy. Too bad almost nobody has seen this movie. The only copy I have is a copy of a copy of a copy on VHS. I can't find anything anywhere but if this thing were to be re-released on DVD with a little bit of promotion, it would quickly become a cult classic. The entire movie is set in and around his apartment which some find annoying but the list of one-liners from this flick are fantastic. If you have a friend who has seen and enjoyed this movie, you can laugh for hours just spouting one liners from the mind of T. Furrows. I use it as a litmus test for people I am considering for inclusion into my inner circle. If they find it funny, I know we can connect intellectually.

I love movies so when asked the question what is my favorite movie, I can never narrow it down to one, but if I had to, I think this one may possibly be it. I don't think it is good for "mainstream" people, but if you are a fan of quirky movies, this is IT! My two daughters and I absolutely love this movie and probably quote it on a daily basis. I don't know why they like it, but I can tell you that one of the things I love about it is I can relate to it. I can definitely get on a rant, and then I sound a lot like Thane Furrows!! I think there's a little Thane in all of us, and those of us who aren't ashamed to admit it can find the humor in this movie. Besides, how can you not love a movie where Jim Carrey plays death? I would highly recommend that everyone see this movie at least once, and if you're like me, you'll want to see it again and again! A real off-beat comedy classic!!

OK, I admit, this movie is a bit on the odd side, but I can't help laughing hysterically every time that I see it. It's about a children's book author Thane Furrows who is basically paranoid and tired of his life. Thane is just so p***ed off at everything, that you can't help but laugh at the insane things that he rants about. I love the whole talking to the camera aspect of the movie, it truly makes it unique. By the way, don't watch this film expecting to see a Jim Carrey movie. He's barely in it and doesn't do a whole lot. Actually I could have done without that part of the storyline all together. I hope that this comes out on DVD some day as I would LOVE to own it.PS "What is this SH*T on here? It's there again!!!!
