chloefairyemo I advise that you watch this movie. Why? Because it is somewhat educational for teens. I am a teen I'm just saying. But I'm never going to run away! This movie made me cry, laugh and scared of the fact that this could actually happen and this is real stuff. Overall, this is an amazing movie and you couldn't have picked a better Luli, Chloë just played Luli's rule so greatly. I would of given this a ten if it hadn't had so much swearing. I loved how nicks character came in from the beginning so she knew who he was and trusted him. Throughout this movie there were many predictable moments and I think nick was quite a predictable character. Without giving any spoilers away, to make you want to watch this movie, or maybe you already have seen it and your Here to write a review.whatever you are doing you should definitely watch this movie if your a high school teacher I think they should show this at high schools as I said this is very educational, and because many students don't know what's wrong like Luli here, this would really help to talk through this, and point out what she did wrong. I just loved this movie!
Angela Inapplicable This was an excellent film because, the characters were well done, actors very committed, the film itself never stepped out of context. It was impeccably directed, and I just want to point out, this is a soft version of reality. Most teenagers don't make it out, and I will be honest it's a good thing the poor girl never made it to Las Vegas, this town is infamous for chewing up girls and spitting them out in the desert somewhere to be forgotten. These critics don't know crap about stories like this because the hardest thing they ever dealt with was being the fat kid in gym class who didn't want to shower in front of peers. Or the worst of there struggles, they are secretly gay, but I guarantee you they have never found themselves as a teen, walking down any dark roads alone, or having to rely on street smarts just to be sure they got to see the sunrise that morning. So if you want to know what real people think, I'm one of the most critical, skeptical people when it comes to films. To be quite honest I hate watching movies these days, and I refuse to ever go to the theater. Nine times out of ten you walk away wondering if you just wiped your ass with $20.00. My last statement, if you like movies that are more realistic, yet has its funny moments, you may want to watch this. If your into superhero films like green lantern or iron man or prefer movies like CatFish, crap only critics like, than you may want to skip it. If you have any trouble believing this, I advise you not to just watch the news, but check out your local coroners missing people or unidentified bodies, the reality is it could of ended a lot worse, as it often does.
nbery I like highbrow drama as much as the next person, but at the 1 hour mark, nothing much had still happened in this movie.Blake Lively looked confused and not much vested in her role. It's likely she signed on to do this film with expectations, but once it was underway, she lost interest. I love Chloe and probably only made it to 1 hour because she was interesting to watch, but again, nothing interesting happened.Eddie Redmayne is a great actor but even he couldn't save this limp "story". Even after the "murder scene", I was bored and ended up turning it off. What a waste of actors, money, and film.
Theprestige82 Whats with all the crap this movie has to deal with, review vise? The acting is very strong, the writing is decent and the direction is solid. Overall a good film, which tells the tale of a young girl and her struggles to change her situation.Stop being such a bunch of prudes. Cause yeah - when a young girl and her dawning sexuality is portrayed in any way(In this movie it wasn't exploitative in any sense of the imagination), its called perverted and dirty fantasies. But god damn, its the reality we're living in.And either way - if you can't stand the theme personally, judge the movie for its technicality, and stop pulling a movie down just because you're struggling with the morality of it.
