MartinHafer This is a television special that was filmed for British TV back in the 1980s. It's an overview of Jim Henson and the Muppets. I loved the film from start to finish and it's a definite must-see for fans of these great puppets. My only reservation is that the film is not complete--and couldn't be since it's only 52 minutes in length. I wish the film had talked more about Henson's projects in the 60s and 70s--important stuff that was not included--such as his TV appearances on "The Jimmy Dean Show" and "Ed Sullivan" as well as his fantastic TV specials like "The Musicians of Bremen". To adequately address these and many other neglected projects, the film could easily have been three or more hours! But despite not being exactly complete, the film gives great insight into Henson as a person--how he thinks, what his life is like and the rest. It also introduces you to a few key people in his organization--but only a few. As I said, the film could have been several hours long in order to adequately address this interesting topic. Well worth seeing.
