Love, as they say, is deadlier than hate sometimes: Love which is actually not but obsession!A young girl is obsessed with one of her neighbors who is married. The girl devices plan (even sinister ones) to get the man.The director/story-teller does an awesome job to make the viewer otherwise for most part of the movie. If you are not reading this review before watching the movie then I think you'll definitely agree with me that it came as a shock when you got to know that whatever was happening was the work of an obsessed lover!Even when everything looks fine and you are contemplating a happy ending the director throws a bucketful of surprise to make your pupil dilated and put a smirk on your lips.

I totally loved this movie as it is not our everyday typical romance movie where the girl lands up with prince charming. This movie is told from a complete different perspective and in the beginning we only view the movie through Angeliques eyes. I honestly felt really bad for her,but as the twist is unraveled and the truth is revealed I was quite happy that she landed in a psychiatric facility and that the Dr and his wife gets back together! The ending was gripping to me as I kept wondering what will happen next.I wonder if there will be a part 2 in the future Iwould really like to know what her next move is.

Brilliant feature! Absolutely loved the twist portrayed in the plot of this movie. It was indeed gripping from the start! As the viewer, being ignorant of the twist that is to follow, it is easy to sympathize with the young, care-free character who is head over heels in love, in the treatment or lack of acknowledgment from her "lover". Also, at the same time, it is easy to feel hatred toward her "lover" for the uncaring treatment she receives. Her love is merely a perception of what she wants and allows herself to see and feel. A strong message and reminder to us all as viewers, that our interpretation of anything can easily be influenced or rather clouded by just what we feel. Totally loved it!

Audrey Tatou portrays Angelique; a beautiful and talented art student who falls deeply in love with married cardiologist Loïc. Over the first half of this movie, they plan how he will escape from his unhappy marriage, his pregnant wife and live an idyllic existence together. Initially, the story focuses on Angelique's point of view; we see her conspiring with her treacherous paramour, leaving voice mail messages and sending love letters and as such, this appears to be no more than a conventional, if rather sordid tale of betrayal and marital infidelity. However, half way through the movie, our perspective changes, and now we see the story through the eyes of Angelique's object of desire; Loïc. Without giving away the ingenious premise, I will say that the story is not as straightforward as it first appears. Our preconceptions and expectations are challenged, and the personalities of the participants are laid bare. This is a sometimes uncomfortable examination of obsession and the lengths human beings will go to in the name of love.
