sthomas-00204 The short movie "Forest Man" Is a beautiful and inspiring film about a determined man who single handily grew a forest in a baron wasteland. This short film shows how a single person; like Javdav Payeng, can do so much good in our world. The message in the movie is so true, we humans are destroying our planet and we need to try harder to fix it. If everyone were like Javdav Payeng I, recon the world would be a better place to live in. One thing I really liked was the use of music; it was very calming and lovely to listen too in the parts with no dialogue. I would totally recommend this amazing movie; it has a lovely story and is very informational I enjoyed watching it.
sbatticci This documentary is a short little beauty. Although this film is small, it has a very big meaning and is trying to put an awareness out to the word. FOREST MAN is a film that is more for the mature demographic or people who care deeply out the world. The film is long and slow which would indicate that it is trying to show how long it took Jadav Payeng to grow the forest. I think that this film is quite good and is worth a look.
christopheripsen I think its a great idea but the progress was too slow for my liking I can see where they're coming from as a forest takes a long time. I found the target audience is a mature demographic. However there was some nice low panning shots of the Forest Man and some nice shots of the trees and the music music matched these shots. Overall it would be a good film if it was a bit faster and i really like the idea of stopping erosion on that small island.
ryantempra Forrest Man is a inspiring documentary about an Indian local who planted an entire Forrest in an Indian barren waste land. Jadav Payeng Has been planting since 1976 and his Forrest is now larger than central park. This documentary details the importance of the environment and that our Earths natural resources will not be here forever so we have to protect them. I would highly recommend this film to all ages and genders.
