Another teen movie guided solely by monetary values. A movie based on the easy to sell storyline of attacking adults while making teen vigilantism the moral compass.
Thus, we have a 23 yr old female playing a 17 yr old having sex with older males then extorting money from them. We have a semi-single mom partially looking the other way, and partially accepting the sexual activity of her daughter.
Teachers again are an easy target for producers, directors & writers. Thus we have that daughter and friends trying the same tactic on the teacher of one of her male friends who initially falsely accused the male teacher of inappropriate contact with him. The writers to save their values leave a line at the end that in reality the teacher was inappropriately touching dozens of female students. Sure! What is lost in this script is any semblance to legal or psychological help for all accused; unless, of course, you're in Russia, China or North Korea.
Fortunately the director, writer, et al. are not teachers.

This movie is not for the moralist,or for the one who think what moral is.
its a film about teenage life, lack of money, strange family structure, extortion, opposite psychees, curious sexuality and sex as weapon, sisterhood, revenge and avenge and a whole lot of love in this feature
in the start it is a girls flick, but it become more male friendly after a while.
it is a very funny story,i giggled a lot,and the sad story are also there, but its well hidden and engulfed. some might find that a pity,well...i dont...
the main cast are more than fine, everyone has their own kind of aura brought into this movie.. there are also something nice and warm with the use of light, the atmosphere becomes special.maybe it is the green sprayed californian hillsides in the background, i dont know.
the end of the film, i dont know, couldve been better but maybe a sequel...
will i tell my wife to see this movie....definately
