First off, if you like zombie flicks, you'll probably be entertained enough to give this a view. The acting is above average and the special effects are really good. Just don't expect much in the way of writing. That's really my biggest complaint. For the budget it looks like this thing had, did they even read the script? I think they just saw "zombies on a plane" and thought that would be enough. The movie spends a lot of time introducing practically ALL the characters on the plane, most of them unlikeable except for the crew. If those introductions would have made me care about any of the characters or, better yet, set up some great ironic deaths, it would have been worth it, but it didn't. What a missed opportunity! You want to see some of these people get theirs, but they just sort of get bit and turn into zombies too. Why do I have to know anything about them? Where's the drama? I found myself only mildly entertained and often thinking, "That's it? They could have done that way better." So many missed opportunities for both comedy and drama. This is an unimaginative "zombies on a plane" flick. The brief scene in World War Z was better. The "zombies on a train" flick Train to Busan was WAY better. This is just okay.

A decent entry on the zombie sub-genre, 'Flight of the Living Dead' takes the usual zombie epidemic to an original place: a 747 flying from LA to Paris. During the flight, a mysterious scientific experiment that was being transported escapes, unleashing the zombies upon the unsuspecting passengers.'Flight' does not follow the Romero zombie film's, as in it isn't slow nor does it have a social commentary hidden in it. Instead, it is a gory, somewhat intense, and above all fun horror picture. The zombies are crawling through the airplane and can appear anywhere at any time; once there is an attack in the bathroom, and later some start coming from the floor. The acting is not bad, which is surprising for a movie like this (where good or even decent acting tends to be rarely found). The effects are okay, but the setting of the plane is what really steals the show. There is an incredible lack of logic in here though, especially the ending (which seems to invite a sequel) and the shoot outs in the plane, but the film's violent fun is enough to make this a decent movie overall. After all, this film main goal is to entertain and it accomplishes its task well.

Oh, man. I was 10 minutes into what screamed crapfest and I actually felt committed to continue to the end of Flight of the Living Dead: Outbreak on a Plane. Seriously? The premise didn't lie, nor did the ridiculously long two-title title. It's a flight, there's the living dead and it's an outbreak. What more do you need to know? Other than those motherfucking zombies on that motherfucking plane, there's nothing else. So, maybe, scratch that – I was wrong to even start it. And even moreso to finish it and waste the time. The movie contained horrid dialogue, terrible acting and a plane with enough space to be a zombie-infested mall in the sky.Sadly, I'll admit there were a few sparks of humor, mostly by the "good guy/bad guy" and a minute amount of originality and perhaps a speck of fright. But, those two positives that take up about two minutes isn't worth the remaining 92 minutes. In fact, it takes far too long to get to the goods. The first full half or more is an absolute abysmal display of developing bad actor's clichéd characters.Trust me, I made a mistake. Don't follow me. Take the bus, instead.

Being a big fan of all things zombie, I just had to get my claws into this movie. And the synopsis and the DVD cover is very promising indeed, and the movie is actually not too shabby. The story is very limited in the sense that it doesn't really have much room to spread out as the movie is limited to action on an airplane. There was a way to have built more story to the movie, though the movie makers didn't opt to do this; they could have added more story and background to the characters and people on the plane. It was done all too shallowly and you never really got to immerse yourself into any of the characters really. That was a shame, because it could have brought the movie up a notch. As for the zombies; well they were actually quite cool. The make-up and special effects were good, and they had the zombies looking cool. However, one thing that didn't sit well with me was the bright yellow eyes! Why? They should have had milky glazed-over eyes, not those yellow eyes that are now associated with vampires with shiny skin and big hair! That made the zombies come off as something less than what zombies usually are.The small enclosed confines of an airplane really worked well for the movie, because it brought about a sense of claustrophobia, and there was no way out, nowhere to run. So that was actually a clever idea and it worked so well."Flight of the Dead" also had a quite good cast. There were some familiar faces on the screen, despite them having little on-screen time. But even the unfamiliar people did it good and worked their characters well. This movie provided good entertainment, and I have actually seen it twice so far. So if you are a zombie fan or a gorehound, then sink your teeth into "Flight of the Living Dead", because it is a good movie.
