First I was wondering what was happening, is this Uwe Böll at work? But after checking IMDb it was clear, it must be his twin brother and seeing he was involved in "Alarm für Cobra 11" and "Der Clown" it was clear that all my hopes for this movie are gone. This movie is so bad in dialogue and story that you can only watch it as a Trash-B-Comedy- Action like all those other RTL-shows in German television.

Yes, really one of the worse. The story, the characters, everything in the movie is stupid and absurd. I ask myself if it is sponsored by some car constructor, because the car seems stronger than a tank. The main char that doesn't know his phone and loses his glasses but he can see everything without problem, the killer that uses as password the birth date of the other people son (how he knows it?), the guns with infinite bullets, the people in the bank still lying on the ground after the two robbers are gone, then I don't believe in Germany (unlike the U.S.) are allowed rewards for the capture of wanted, the police that says "we have lose the ambulance" (during the chase) while the same ambulance is with sirens blaring, and so many many other absurd things (as the final killer suicide). You can look at it only for to see how a movie has NOT to be. It is not enough some car crash for to do a good (or funny) movie. I have to remember the director name, so I will not waste my time in the future.

Fire seems to be one of those movies, that divides people into two groups. The ones that like the movie and the ones that do not understand it.Only voting 1 or 3 stars does not give the movie enough credit. It is what it is, a good German movie produced for the international market. Given the normal budget movies in this category have, which cannot be compared to the ones in the US, they have done a really good job on this one.I like the movie because it does not try to be something completely different and this is what it is all about.hope you found this useful? Thanks Casey

I recently watched this movie and cannot understand why everyone bashes this movie like it is the worst thing they have ever seen. It is easy to watch and gives you everything you need for a good and entertaining Sunday night movie marathon. The storyline is not so far from the truth and the acting by mostly German actors is promising and believable through out the movie. Especially the acting done by the young German actress Cosma Shiva Hagen, makes me wish to see her in future productions which challenge her to become an even better actress as she already is. About Gary Dourdan, he needs to learn not to overact and make some of his emotions not as believable as they could be, but overall solid performance.Enjoy Your Sunday Night...
