Stan Maas If you saw the series, this movie is going to be a disappointment. While the series were actually quite funny and sometimes even thrilling, the movie is just predictable and boring. Of course you know with this cast, that acting is not going to be great. Yet besides the acting, the story is lame. The story is just about a party the fraternity/sorority wants to give. While the series involved the power play of the board of the association, this is just about some high schoolers for the first time. This movie might be fun, while you are in first grade in high school, but once you're older than twelve, this movie will fail your expectations.

koelket While I agree with everyone on the fact that this is not a masterpiece, I do think they did a pretty good job on this film. It has a lot of similarities with the series (including some of the comedy aspects), which is why people will watch it in the first place, shows some fine camera work on the party scenes (because that is actually what these parties look like nowadays) and did that all with a very small budget. As a non-fraternity student, I think this is actually a quite OK representation of what the beginning of any student life is. Not everyone will end up in a police van at 6 in the morning, but you will probably experience a change in mind-set in some way. In conclusion, I would recommend this to any people starting university soon, and I would advise everyone to compare this film to others with similar genre and budget, because it does quite alright in that (short) list.

Single Amsterdam This movie is a waste of time. Don't go there even if you have plenty! Bad acting, bad story, unrealistic and predictable. The series is better, even tough they are not great either. The worst movie in the theatre so far and I have been to many! I know the Netherlands do not have large budgets for their movies but that is not an excuse. What a shame for my country! I have never left the theatre so disappointed! I have to add some negative words to meet the requested 10 lines to get thus review posted so I hope thus warning will at least prevent one person from going and something else with their time and money. Ah just on more line and my warning is publishable. Right now!
