I couldn't stop laughing all the way thru the movie,, there's a few sad parts , but for the most part this is 100% comedy, I liked the story/ plot line if you will about the penguins, migrating and trying to find their mate,, loved the baby misfit penguin who never fit in,, couldn't sing right,, but boy that kid sure knew how to dance,, didn't care for the stuck up penguin who thought she was too good for him, the character voices were great,, although didn't care for Bob Saget,, something about him just rubs me the wrong way I guess,, I will definitely watch this again,, when I need a great laugh,, terrific movie,, just not so much for the young kids. due to language, and sex talk.

When my husband rented this movie, I told myself I was going to hate it. I mean...Farce of the Penguins?? You have got to be kidding me! I mean, look at the DVD cover! It's ridiculous! About 2 minutes into the movie, I found myself smiling on the couch. In 5 minutes, I was laughing out loud. This movie is absolutely hilarious! Samuel L. Jackson is perfect as the narrator. Now, I will admit, it is very, very crude almost the entire way through the movie. So, if you are easily embarrassed, don't watch this movie. I also would not recommend watching this movie with your grandmother in the room. Other than that, sit back, eat some popcorn, and enjoy!

A satire of the acclaimed March of the Penguins. There are also elements from Happy Feet, and some other recent movies. The only thing missing is humor. Dull, tedious, and lacking any wit or creativity whatsoever. A bunch of high recognition celebrity voices are drafted for inane banter pasted over some stock footage of penguins wandering around the Antarctic, apparently seeking mates (or so we are told). Interspersed are some random shots of other animals touching themselves, again with sub-moronic observations by the voice-overs. Samuel L. Jackson, as the narrator, has one of the few worth-while lines, repeatedly telling the audience how lousy this stinker is. And he's right.Unless you like hearing that favorite word of unemployed comedians (hint: starts with f) every few seconds, brain-dead potty humor, and rambling references to pop culture, you'll be yelling at the set for these idiots to shut up already. Unfortunately, they don't: they talk...and talk...and talk. That's pretty much all this film is. Bob Saget, formerly the "Funniest Videos" host, is apparently the one to blame for this slop, and shows no ability at creating a "funniest video" himself. No laughs; just irritating. Bury this junk deep in a polar ice cap somewhere and pretend it never existed.

Not even the grand cast of star power could save this.Samuel L. Jackson's narration doesn't even save it, and he had quite a lot of lines. You can certainly tell that this movie is written by Bob Saget. His jokes were never that funny and he certainly shows that he tries to hard. The majority of the jokes come from penis references and fart jokes. They aren't clever and they aren't original. I can't see why anyone would find this movie funny or enjoyable. The editing was crazily poor. The musical numbers were performed terribly, and at times they tried to hard to be something special.Christina Applegate plays Melissa and she is looking for a nice guy. Carl (played by Saget) is looking for a girl who gets him - which just so happens to be Melissa. When they do finally meet after a long 55 minutes or so, they fall in love in a matter of 5 minutes. Then they have the clichéd storyline of best friends hating each other over a girl.I can't believe that Dane Cook, Norm Macdonald, Jason Alexander, Samuel L. Jackson, Christina Applegate, Woopi Goldberg, and Lewis Black even agreed to do this film.Do I even have to call it a film? It's far from being something entertaining.Anyone out there who thought "looks alright" take this review under consideration and change your minds. If you watch this movie, you will definitely want your 75 minutes back trust me.A movie about Penguins you might want to see is March of the Penguins, narrated by Morgan Freeman.Don't waste time or money on Farce of the Penguins. If you do watch this movie you'll only like the line by Dane Cook's character.
