There isn't too much to say about this that hasn't been said or commented on in the past. This is much akin to other shockumentaries before it; such as Faces of Death and Traces of Death. In my eyes, the only thing that separates it from its more graphic forefathers is the authenticity and the acting. In terms of validity, it seems to hold up to its claims of being 100% real. Despite some of the scenes being very low-res, it can be pretty hard to watch at times. As far as acting goes, our host (Dr. Vincent Van Gore) feels like to love child of Dr. Francis B. Gross and Dr. Louis Flellis from the Faces of Death series; which doesn't say too much about the poor acting. Our narrator (Todd Tjersland) is less entertaining as those before him, and is more lowbrow and cold when it comes to talking about the dead--so if you're a person who believes in the importance of respecting the dead, you probably won't enjoy his shade of humor all that much.If you're that shockumentary thrill seeker who wants to claim to have seen it all, then by all means, check it out. If you're hoping to find the "next most disturbing thing" from this, then you more than likely won't find it here--from the aforementioned bad acting, the narrator, and the general editing style.2/10

"Faces of Death 2" is a 2000 shockumentary video made by Todd Tjersland, who also made the first one.Just like in the first film, it's just a new but more disturbing collection of nasty clips of ugly-looking corpses/crushed bodies caused by traffic accidents (where most of the people's heads are totally crushed), suicides and so on. Here Dr. Vincent van Gore gets more hysteric on his voice, and Mr. Tjersland still ridicule the events on every single videos shown here. And they're still lying about the events taking place in Japan, when they are clearly from other Asian countries like Thailand. In one scene we even get so see one recipe for a dish which involve human flesh. However, I just overlooked it and focused on the scene itself. And just thinking about some of the crushed heads in the traffic accident videos makes me gross...Absolute NO joking here.To make it worse, sound effects are clearly heard often; Blood dripping whenever blood is shown, a Howie Scream is clearly heard in one sequence, and some laughing-children-sound almost made me think "Diddy Kong Racing". SHAME ON YOU, "MOVIE TEAM"!!!I'm very sorry if I overreacted here about the sound effects, but this was how I felt when watching this film. But like I said in my review for the film's predecessor, there is nothing to see in this so-called 'movie'. But if you like 100% real gore and really want to see this, please DON'T watch it for the sake of entertainment, as there are nothing entertaining with this video. Otherwise, just skip this film and watch something better, like the classic "Faces of Death"-movies to make an example. Trust me, I will promise you that...That's all folks...

Part 2 is without a doubt even more disturbing then its predecessor. We basically get the usual stuff from the first one: Gory police-footage taken in southeast Asia (probably Thailand) although its supposed to be from Japan. And then there's the annoying narrator, mr Tjersland himself always ridiculing the victims for some tragic reason.Still some differences can be found, mainly due to the fact that part 2 focuses on the Philippines (mostly circulating around this serial killer named "Machete Joe" that we get to know)a bit more But mostly, its till "japanese" footage. The host "Dr van Gore" also seems to have had a haircut since last time but he also uses a louder & more hysterical voice each time he mentions humanity and her being "obsessed with violence" (he kinda reminds you of a cult-leader actually) And mr Tjersland...im sorta used to his controversial comments on the victims but at one point i almost felt like turning it off completely: In one scene he mentions that the victim will probably be "molested by AIDS-infected homosexuals when it arrives at the mortuary! Think about that the next time someone you love dies!" What a jackass...2/10 due to the fact that you're being reminded of the cruel nature the human race carries in her womb. And that it for some bizarre reason reminds me of the "Stupid footage caught on camera" shows that you find on every cable channel. Its true, while taking a break i actually changed channel and found one & i saw the similarities! Although there is of course a major difference there is still something they have in common: Ridicule the victims that get hurt (or in the FOG case: the ones getting killed!) Just my 2 cents

this trash was edited original film that was filming where the accident took place.this trash's directer and writer and every thing is Dr?? vincent ban gore. his name was parodied of Gogh. i dun know whose name made this trash..and dont wanna to know. all through the showing movie, narrator(Dr.gore) laughs at the dead-men with uncomfortable loud laughing.this flick has many problem. first of all, the director can't distinguish japan from thailand. the accident where took place in thailand, but this flick insist its from japan's. huh~ psycho!! whatever intentional presentation or ignorance , trash is trash!.and the film is too old thing...maybe took place in 1980~1990 in thailand.
it's worthless to say that but i hope u don't commit a blunder like me
