What we have here is a solid story that is different than anything out there (at least slightly) but the movie just fails to represent the story. The film is very slow and predictable. I know it's centered for a younger teen audience but honestly they can't sell the dreadful product this movie is.
I've actually read the book and I really enjoyed it, it was fun and romantic and it also had some twist and turns. I feel that this movie presented the spoiler topic or even the LGBT one very poorly. In the book these two topics make an impact to the reader and here I just didn't care as a viewer.
Over all, I don't have anything that positive to say about this film so I'm leaving this review. I'd advice to try other teen rom-coms because there are so many out there and this one will probably waist your time.

When I read the premise, I felt it was a rip on the YouTube series, without giving credit. But I decided to watch it anyway. And, I really enjoyed it.
Since its a teen romance type drama, something I haven't watched since my own teens back in the 80s, I watched it without that fore knowledge.
The only YA I watch are sci-fi or fantasy based films. So, to watch Every Day and to still have it hold my attention and keep me captivated, without all the flash bang effects of other CGI multi-million $ productions, it did a very good job.
Time is precious to me and taking it out to watch a film, I usually wouldn't watch and yet still enjoy as much as I did this one, was well worth it.The portrayals were great and the lead did an awesome job.
