Big Wheel
This movie is NOT a hardcore film, therefore one shouldn't expect to see any explicit sex. It is a beautiful softcore movie. It's plot line is disjointed but it serves its purpose....to show lovely women in the nude. There are several scenes featuring gorgeous ladies in the buff, including every square-inch of the spectacular Natalie Uher. In fact, this film is GROUND-BREAKING as the first movie to clearly show a woman's vagina and still receive an R-rating by the MPAA. Usually the MPAA gives full female genitalia (the labia and clitoris) an NC-17 rating. The MPAA typically employs an unfair and discriminatory double-standard where they will allow penises to be shown in R-rated films but not vaginas. This film breaks that double-standard and sets a new precedent by clearly showing the lead actresses' vulva as she sunbathes. So if you are watching this film to see lots of good female nudity then you will enjoy it. If you are expecting Gone With The Wind or Deep Throat then you will be disappointed. 5/5

Back in the seventies Sylvia Kristel was the queen of soft-porn with the original Emmanuelle being one of the biggest successes of all time...in Paris the film stood years on the bill of theatres. But two decades later things have changed...Kristel is grandma and other movies are so much more erotic that this sixth sequel is one of the most useless movies ever. The story : urrrmmm...Emmanuelle has been kidnapped and was sold as slave and through this trauma she forgot who she really was. Voilà, that's it and you can't add nothing more to that.... The actors : Nathalie Uher (Emmanuelle) is a beautiful woman but I really shouldn't come up with something else. The acting is at its baddest (the cast of Neighbours are all Robert De Niro's if you compare it with this disaster). Forget all those idiots who like it so much because it's bad. A B-movie??? My ass... And the erotic scenes? Phew, just watch the newest commercial from Fa and you see lots more. If all movies would have been like this, I am sure I would never watch it at any second. Why have I watched it then? Because of the thrill to slash it down...Nothing can be more crap than this!!!
4-1-1
Pros: Attractive women in various states of undress. Exotic locations. Beautiful photography. / Cons: Not much of a story here. Different, unconnected scenes held together by a flimsy narrative. / What I think: Emmanuelle tries to recover from her amnesia. I am quickly forgetting what I just saw.... Enough said.

Penned by noted ero-gothic horror-meister, Jean Rollin, this 6th installment in the seemingly unending Emmanuelle series steals a page from that other Emanuelle (single M) series starring Laura Gemser in its attempts to blend erotic fantasy and sleazy exploitation with some vague premise involving a drug-lord and white slavery ring. Alas, director Bruno Zincone will never be mistaken for Joe D'Amato (or Just Jaeckin for that matter) and whatever seedy elements contained in Rollin's story are handled in an awkward and haphazard manner. On the plus side, the lovely Nathalie Uher as Emmanuelle certainly is a scrumptious specimen and proves rather adept at removing her clothes whenever the script calls for it (which, fortunately, is quite often, god bless her). Now, if only somebody had bothered to explain to her that acting and modeling are not one in the same, she might have had a future as a B-queen at the very least. Instead, she disappeared into oblivion like so many other pretty faces, but what a pretty face indeed. Nathalie, where for art thou?
