I would directly get to the points I would like to discuss. Zach Galifianakis - this was the second instance I saw him on big screen. Before watching him here, I saw him in Hangover. For me, it was as if the actor is really like that. It took me watching, an interview of his that he was acting out everything. As the movie ran I enjoyed every instance, until Zach disclosed he had all stuff belonging to Robert. Even I wanted him to get punished. It was as if Zach has almighty's hand on his head that everything that was inflicted on him, more came onto the inflictor. I really wanted Robert to reach his wife delivery before time with cent percent wellness. If that would have happened the movie would have gained an extra point.

Bad copy of ''Planes,Trains & Automobiles''.
They never even try to simulate they were not copying that great movie. The scene when they are just about to have a car crash because the ''silly one'' fell asleep was so predictable!
Please!
Don't think people are dumb.
WE WATCH MOVIES.
We HAVE SEEN John Candy's excellent work. And WE REALIZE this is an exact (but WORSE) copy.So I give a 7 to ''Due Date'' just in case someone
didn't watch the other...but if you did...AVOID this one.You'll give a 4 or a 5....in that case.
What else can I add?
The performances were OK but not enough...Steve Martin & John Candy were super!! And the man playing the character of the ''silly one'' was a complete NO ONE for a South American woman like me (Argentine)...so..... here you have : a 7.

I wasn't expecting much from 'Due Date', but I was pleasantly surprised. I laughed a lot more than I thought I would and the film as a whole is a lot more enjoyable than I'd anticipated. Director Todd Phillips was also behind 'The Hangover' movies and there are some clear similarities between the two, especially in the style of humour.Zach Galifianakis' character, Ethan, is very similar to The Hangover's Alan. I don't think anybody plays the stupid guy better than him, and he's on top form once again in 'Due Date'. There are some very funny individual scenes, but it never quite reaches the same level of humour as the first Hangover movie, which was relentlessly funny. 'Due Date' is still definitely worth seeing though, even if it's only for the hilarious Galifianakis.

seriously i enjoy comedy films but this one is a pile of nonsense directed by Todd Philips this no talent hack has never made a good film in his life the hangover series are pure example of how lame this filmmaker is i am sorry if anyone finds it offensive i can't just believe it that a lot of people actually like this film.the cast is pure waste may i ask what the hell was Robert Downey Jr doing here this guy is a fantastic actor rich or broke he should have never accepted this script its a spat on his career,Jamie Foxx just appears for a few moments his only funny moment comes during the coffee drinking scene & Zack Galifianakis is a annoying person plus the worst actor ever along with Christoph Waltz yes i said it Waltz is overrated if you look at both of these actors methods they always smile for no reason even in serious situations and force it too much,i have lost hope in Michelle Monaghan she used to be a top class actress of our times it is sad to see this lady wasting her talents.i caught this 2 or 3 times running on the TV i actually though it would be funny if i would see the whole film after renting it but i was wrong the plot & characters just don't go nowhere & comedy don't bother Robert Downey Jr's character responds to a spoiled kid by punching him in the stomach OK lets say the kid deserved it or not but here is next big thing the masturbation scene Ethan does it and his dog follows it,now the only scene i liked in the entire film was the grand canyon scene i though he was going to make a joke on character of tom cruise in Mi2 called Ethan Hunt & how his name is similar to him but thank god he didn't.the story:yeah right like this film even had one anyway it is about Peter a guy who wants to return to his home but because idiot named Ethan on the flight things go wrong he is left with nothing & has only option left to take a road trip ride with Ethan.from the start it's a predictable film you know whats gonna happen even before the opening credits hit the screen this is a train wreck of a film i tolerated it only because of Robert Downy Jr i don't know what was he thinking desperately trying to prove himself that he is better at doing comedy too well off course he is no doubt about it the thing i like about in his acting is it involves a lot of hidden sarcastic tones he uses it very well in many situations if you listen to him a lot you will see what i mean his dialog timing is flawless take any of his films serious or fun filled i mean it he can do all types of roles his range is massive it was simply embarrassing to see him here.i don't know how this film is being called or classified into the comedy genre if this is comedy then i have lost my faith in this world, you want great comedy try Pulp Fiction 1994 a timeless classic crime comedy ill be putting my disc back in the DVD to watch it again as this just gave me a bad taste in the eyes.Overall Due Date 2010 is a assault on brain film if you are a patient or something please do not watch this film at any cost it is worst then having a brain hemorrhage at least you will recover from that but after watching this crap no chance in hell this is a one way ticket to coma"Nuff Said" my rating is 2/10:Skipp It
