keithwright974 Took my five year old to see it this morning. A very entertaining film. Some humourous moments for parents too, especially a very brief hilarious grown-up moment in a restaurant towards the end of the movie which could very easily be missed. Some humourous moments that could be a little scary for younger children, but the humour balances those moments very well to calm feelings again.
SnoopyStyle The birds are flying south to Haven. Ducklings Chi and Chao get left behind. They imprint upon goose Peng (Jim Gaffigan). After hurting his wing, Peng is forced to walk and the ducklings would make good cannon fodder for any predator. This is a co-production with Chinese animation. This is no Pixar but it's almost Ice Age. That franchise makes bank. Chinese animation continues to advance. It's director Chris Jenkins' debut although he's been involved with many animated hits before. The animal designs still has some improvements. They are trying to be too realistic. The voice work has the recognizable voice of Jim Gaffigan but there is nothing memorable. The plot is simple. Even that needs improvement. At least, anglicize the names. There's no point in forcing Chinese names in the dubbed version. The technical aspect is improving but the artistic marks have to be low.
ChloeLFinch There was a lot of name calling in this Movie, 30 mins in I wasn't sure if I sure turn it off. The pace was really slow. it was getting really boring but I carried on watching, so I could do this review and to know how it ended. I have to say that there was an evil cat with a red eye and yellow that could be really scary for young children and there was a lot of Inappropriate humour in this Movie. I don't think that this Movie is aimed at young children but pre-teens or something. there was only a few funny scenes and the end was cute. There was also a few scenes that were very violent fright and upsetting scenes that wasn't appropriate for young children at all. I didn't like the main charter Pam that much he completely disregarding the rules of his group and showing off and his flying tricks. Pam was really mean to the two small ducklings charter he wasn't that nice and I only really seen a change in his the last 30 mins of the Movie. This Movie definitely had good animation, the outlines were clear, detailed, and the colours were bright. I found that The voice casting wasn't that bad and I think it matched each charter well. And I like the music that was used, I think it went well with the scenes. There was some intense scenes more near the end of the Movie.
soto350 The main problem of the cartoon is the presence of childish vulgar humor and excessive violence, especially with the protagonist, who looks like a clumsy fool, depriving himself of any chemistry. Because of what these shortcomings accumulate people's opinions to the hate about this cartoon. The cartoon itself is on graphic and visual is good and very enjoyable to watch. If delete the scenes associated with vulgarity and excess violence, it can be enjoyable for home viewing.
